i flew them from JNB to Port elizabeth and out flight was delayed by about three hours but the crew was super kind and was a great flight otherwise. Definitely a good airline!! Thank you AirLink!
Thank you for the video we are flying from Dar es Salaam to johannesburg then to Port Elizabeth and then yo Durban all in april and may all with Airlink hopefully have the same good experience you had regards
3:23 I've noticed African carriers haven't stopped their I flight magazines like they have in the west and some of the Middle East. Lovely airline they are. I flew JNB-BUQ on their quadengine avro something. Loved it. Nice cold meal on board too. Lovely review. Thanks for it!
Nice video! Yes, I also like this little plane very much and fly frequently Tambo to East London with Airlink. Its enjoyable and I really recommend it.

Thank you for this review! We’re thinking of flying this airline from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park. Are you satisfied that they’re a safe airline?
Tony, great video. I will be flying with Airlink next month from Cape Town to Windhoek Namibia on the ERJ-135. I'll be carrying my cameras and lenses inside a Shimoda Explore 35L backpack. Do you think this would fit in the overhead bin? (Dimension of the bag: 11.6W x 21.2H x 7.8D in. / 29.5W x 54H x 20D cm I can't let this backpack fly in the hold baggage due to the fragile lens and camera setup. Btw, do Airlink check the weight of the cabin baggage? Thanks beforehand for the tips!
Thanks Can. The overheads in the 135 are quite small, but you may be able to squeeze it in - failing that, under the seat in front. They do put roll aboard in the hold as you enter the plane, and they get them out for you at the other end as you get off, so it won't go through the baggage system in the airport. If you want space above, get on the bus last and stay by the doors then run to the front, otherwise it'll be filled. Weight limit is 8kg,I only had a little bag so that wasn't weighed and I don't know if they normally do. Have a great trip!
Johannesburg to Skukuza. Most beautiful flight of my life
Flown them a few times and will be again later this year.
They are an excellent carrier.
Great service, clean aircraft and a reliable schedule.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching.

Great review! I’ve flown Airlink several times and they have failed to disappoint. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!

Thanks for watching!
3hrs flight on a small plane like that is quite impressive. It will do very well in my country Nigeria, where the longest flight is 1:15mins..😊

Lucky lady!
Thank you this encouraged me to go on the plane to Zambia😃
Glad I could help, and hope you enjoy(ed) it!
Must do a trip either Johannesburg to Cape Town or the other way around. Best by far.
5:10 pilot did what?? 🤣🤣🤣. That's funny.
New subbie
Gave it the beans? Whacked it into warp mode? So many options ;o). Thanks for the sub!
@@TonyCulshaw 🤣🤣🤣
That‘s so funny 😂 but gives you an idea of speedy takeoff

Was my last visit.
we wil be passing thru JNB next week. Are masks optional in the airport?
I think they are, but there's conflicting information on the internet. I'd carry one just in case and go with the flow when you get there.
Thank you for this nice video! Airlink is just the best. I gladly pay a few more Rands for that kind of service.
They are good aren't they. Thanks for watching!
SA Airlink also receives a high 5 for the resoectfull way they care for unaccompanied children.
They are good

You don’t show much of the cabin 😢
Sorry about that, there's a better shot on the Zambian video - it can be difficult when the plane is full not to intrude too much.
t's a privet jet
Yeah you can't read between the lines too
