They both evolved and changed , kept making music, but people kept expecting that image to come back. And later they realised that the audiences didn’t focused on the music but rather looks and media presence (which is sad) . I am glad that Lana doesn’t let those people get to her. She overcame her alcoholism, and depression, got better at songwriting and now she has distanced herself from the media and releases her music with no promotion as if it was a test to find out who are her real fans.
