I have hepatitis B. Just know this month, I went to check my blood test after I saw my dad suffering from the same but he is in end stage.. I am so sad 😭that I have this virus .
I hope you're well. It is definitely hard learning that you have HBV but there are definitely treatments available to help. You also have to do your best to protect your liver by reducing its workload by changing everyday habits: have a regular sleep pattern, do not drink alcohol (not a lot at least) etc. Ask your family members to check for their HBV immunity and be aware of the ways HBV spreads so as to protect anyone else from getting it. I have a family member with HBV as well and we are much more cautious in not sharing utensils etc. There is definitely hope in coping with the virus because you found out early, try to see good in that and I wish you the best of health.

A lot of patients haven't no symptoms although they get HBV, ( two billions get HBV but having 250 millions get hepatitis), we treat chronic HBV infection (having symptoms or not), medication is only way to eliminate the HBV, if you had HBsAg positive, let's check for 6 mouths later, it's called chronic HBV infection, and your doctor will treat you. the HBV transmits by blood, sexual activity, and mother to child (like HIV transmission). hope my answers aren't too late.

i'm a med student. A lot of patients haven't no symptoms although they get HBV, ( two billions get HBV but having 250 millions get hepatitis), we treat chronic HBV infection (having symptoms or not), medication is only way to eliminate the HBV, if you had HBsAg positive, let's check for 6 mouths later, it's called chronic HBV infection, and your doctor will treat you. the HBV transmits by blood, sexual activity, and mother to child (like HIV transmission). hope my answers aren't too late.
