  • In 2020, Weatherby VP Luke Thorkildsen drew a Mid - Asian Ibex hunt at the Less Than One Club drawing at Wild Sheep Foundation Sheep Show. After two years of COVID delays he was finally able to make the journey to Kyrgyzstan and harvest his first ever ibex, officially exiting the Less Than One International Club.

Great hunt, and to get a double was extra icing on the cake.

I love the Dead in Tracks approach . Ethical hunters, always is their goal . I truly believe that velocity has much more to do with it, than a lot of folks do.

Great hunt, I wish the camera did not get knocked over for the shot but still, what a beautiful landscape to hunt in.

Please make something that can contend with the 7 STW, a 7mm-378 or a 7mm-300! Also if y'all are still planning to do a RPM line please make one in a .35 caliber! the perfect short and medium range dangerous game caliber!

Give the 7mm Weatherby Magnum a try with the new powders. Will generate more velocity than the 7mm STW or 7mm Ultra magnum. I now have 2. 155 Federal Terminal Ascent with RL 26 and 215M. 3,325 FPS from a 24” barrel and 3,400 from the 26” barrel. Tough bullet quite a high BC.

Well that explains the letter from wild sheep, I figured it was something like this to warrant that action. Feel really bad for those hunters that lost time and funds.

You got to wonder why they say " no photo " They did the same thing to us. It's either they dont want other people seeing the area you are going hunting on RUclips, or they are not supposed to be taking you to this place or they are busy paying a bribe to a border guard, soldier or official.
    Welcome to Kyrgyistan.

Shame about the outfitter thing , I know covid hurt a lot of them . I had 2 whitetails at the taxidermy took 3 years , I had given up and wrote him off , dude finally called me back . said their materials prices had skyrocketed , he stuck to his original quote though .

Nice video. I have hunted that same valley. I hope you guys get your money back from Bryan Martin, especially the sheep hunter. That guy is a CROOK and should be kicked out of the entire industry!
