i got married in may of 2018- i don’t feel like you don’t need to explain how you met, your wedding is about the two of you coming together, not anything else. if you feel the need to input that information in your day, you could do a cute game (like shoe game, if it applies to him you put his shoe up, your shoe up for you, etc.) i did not do this, but i feel you need to do the things that make sense to you as a couple. my husband was really wanting people to dance on the dance floor so that is what we mainly focused on. just make sure you have a little 5 minute session to yourself to in take your venue and the day. i was told this, and i went to our ceremony, and reception areas by myself before the day, and just looked around. i remember those moments so clearly. i also advise picking out perfume scent and using it during your shower, bach party, wedding day and your honeymoon. then after that, if you use that scent it will take you back immediately! that is the only thing i advise you do. congrats to you, enjoy this time (so corny but so genuine) remember to take in this time!

Here’s a tip for you. If you cut the lettuce directly with a knife it will go brown on the ends quicker. Tear what lettuce you need off then use the knife to cut up what you need and put the rest away for it to last longer !

I’m getting married later this year and our celebrant gave us a questionnaire asking how we met, what we enjoy doing together why we want to marry each other and a few other personal questions etc and I think she’s going to incorporate it into the ceremony somehow?!
