Your truck reminds me of a Johnny Cash song about a guy smuggling Caddy parts out of the plant and building a multiyear car. Good Work man. Your mods and improvements are great!. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Ray your truck looks like it just came off the show room floor, i can almost smell that new vehicle smell, i'm happy for you your hard work really shows.
Seriously it remember me going from a “broken glovebox repair” to a full engine swap and dashboard change … My parents where not happy because it took us 2month … but it was great and still is a lovely memory.
Thanks for the update. I’ve been wondering about this series. Nice work. Most people cant appreciate just how much work goes into something like this.👍👏👏
Thanks for the update on the Silveryrado / DirtyMax interior conversion. That took a lot of research to locate and acquire all those parts. Many probably don't know the interchange of those parts. It's most likely something you've done lots of thought on. Nice results. It must give you a lot of satisfaction to drive and take in the new interior. Thanks again for the update.
Aaaaaaand about to be overtaken by the injector, oh while I'm here (OWIH) fuel filter, lift pump, high pressure fuel pump, OWIH turbo, have I forgotten anything refit! Not complaining as I'm looking forward to that series as well. Keep up the great work Ray. Btw, loving the whole crew becoming more and more involved in the visible side of things, you can't do what you do without them. Take care all.....
You've done a lot to your interior and it looks great from here. It's nice having something exactly the way you want it and knowing that it's the only one like it.
this is an acceptable "update" video. I had been wondering where this project was, and if it had been back burnered. Nice to know it's still being picked away at. I will say that heated seats can be a boon for sore backs 😋
I converted my Avalanche LTZ were completely destroyed when I bought it so I recovered it with the Swede cover. A cheap but very satisfying for it get you a shoe brush that you brush the shoe. A new brush makes it look Keeps it looking brand new.
You should get some quality moisturizer for your leather seats that have UV protector incorporated in it and it will help keep your leather supple and protected from the sun. Also use one of those heat reflectors in your front window where possible, even if it's laying on the dashboard to keep your truck protected.
Ray you have built a truck that can literally do anything. From towing and hauling, be somewhat of a performance machine, disaster relief equipment and to a luxury road vehicle. Is there anything this truck cannot do? 😊 Great videos bud. I watch when I can. Might have to let you put your hands on my Babyrado (S10) someday.
I knew you were going to mention the upgraded air vents with the “chrome “ bit. It’s the little things that keeps people excited about projects. Looks great!
With you having new carpet, get some WeatherTech 3D floor mats. I use them in EVERY vehicle. They're functionally awesome, not expensive and made in the USA.
With all the mods you have done to it the silvery rado is certainly one of a kind now and even though the old girl is getting on in age probably even increased her value. ( built to last now 👍👍👊👊)
The interior looks great! I wish I saw your Escalade conversion before I replaced my dash cluster with blue led's from ISS in my 2003 Tahoe. It's a Z71 and I do have the roof AC and lighted vanity mirrors on both sides I like the console I just wish they opened from front to back instead east and west! It looks great. You just need the Escalade steering wheel! Your air bag will fit right in!
You should either get some scotchgaurd concentrate and apply it by washing the carpet OR get some Weather-Tech custom floor mats. Especially for the back... My 02 Exped had the same visors, nothing new! It also had air con seats.... 😂
Ray please hook up the heated seats if you're sore as heck from working all day the heated seats help a ton. Plus when it's cold and rainy it's also nice to have.
I'm late to the game, but I did notice the Cadillac interior in the other main channel videos. Really nice looking. I want to do something similar to my GMC Canyon, I have the base model and I want to swap in the Denali interior.
Great Video I know it took you a little time to do this but it came out great. Guessing it was way cheaper then a new truck. had to do the same thing you did to your truck on a 1984 Cadillac he left me Started out with the headliner. The one I had came out with the the rear seats out. Any way didn`t need a lot of interior pieces but a lot of fixing. Came out great though.
I really want to replace my 2020 4Runner TRD cloth seats with TRD premium leather seats or even the Pro seats. Not sure I want to do the heated seat feature either since the slots for the buttons are in the center console and I really don’t want to mess with that lol cool upgrades!
Cleanest period correct interior I've seen in a GMT800 by far, great job!
One of the shifters from a '07-'14 Escalade with the tow/haul mode have the chrome ring and it would match the rest of your interior perfectly 👍

I remember that story
Omg you pretty much hit the nail in the head with this one 😂🔥

Most people can't? That's one hell of an assumption on your part.
Those doors turned out great! Nice gray color match to the steering wheel column.

Looks really nice. Yes, it has been a lot of work, worth it. Plus, you now have ac that works 💪.
Ray love what you do to make yourself happy. What life is about.
Wow, the interior looks amazing now ray. All that hard work paid off. Some really nice upgrades there 💯👍
The worst case of...."WELL HONEY.....I MIGHT AS WELL SINCE I'M DOING IT."... To ever happen in the world of D.I.Y..

@@brerobsym I hope he does not go all the way to changing the air filter, that's just too much, unless that new shop assistant/product model does it.
NOOOOOOOOOO! Not the air filter!
Sarcastic orgasmic overflows the comment section once more. Damn folks get a grip!
Like cleaning a wall in the house. Next thing you know the whole house is painted

Thank you Ray.. I've been hoping you would make a video such as this. I've been curious as to how it looks completed. Your vehicle looks amazing..
Great job Ray, you attention to detail is amazing on everything you take on.
I'll bet it smells better too!
It really looks good in side so far can't wait to see it all finished

looks like a great ride. enjoy riding around and having fun
The inside of your truck looks great
New interior looks awesome! You did a great job!
It's obvious you live in Florida. Here in the upper Midwest, there would be no question about connecting the seat heaters...
Looking good, very sharp!

It can't fly, YET.
@@jimdavis6833 Take it to the freedom factory and put that to the test
One of the most exciting things, is seeing how the job evolves.
I knew you were going to mention the upgraded air vents with the “chrome “ bit. It’s the little things that keeps people excited about projects. Looks great!
Very nice interior and truck Ray.
Love the videos, I look forward to them every day.
I enjoy the interaction between you and wife unit and Dave.
I live in New England and every car have ever owned has had a seat heater. Though most people call it my butt.
Very nice! It looks like it came from the factory!👍👍👍
Reeeeee you need to hook up the heated seats for the 4 days a year you’ll need them 😎 Looks great
Alas. The SilveryRado Grand Tour.

With you having new carpet, get some WeatherTech 3D floor mats. I use them in EVERY vehicle. They're functionally awesome, not expensive and made in the USA.

Looking good Ray. And loved the balance explanation video too. Cheers from down under 🍻🇦🇺
Looks pretty good. If you are cold at 50°, you'll need the seat heaters. Don't forget the steering wheel.
Video approved no gravity.
Correction my friend. Escalade did have center air. In the ext model. The one that looked like the avalanche. My wife has one
