If the Superman movie is hugely successful, WB is gonna want to charge more for the DC license & Mcfarlane has been barely servicing it as it is with paint variants, hollow plastic & subpar sculpts. Not to mention his weird women rules. The licensors go to toy shows & watch the market too and they see the work by Jada, or Hasbros Marvel Legends & Mattels wrestling figures & could easily say “Given the brands spike in popularity thanks to new media, if what we now need to meet the expectations of the DC license is beyond you, McFarlane, then we need to part ways.”
i got the mcd's captain america brave new world toys this past year because they thought the movie was coming out this past year, so they scheduled the happy meal toys too early, i wanted the red hulk toy to be plastic like a mini action figure, but it was a soft doll type toy to clip onto backpacks, that would have been a neat toy if it was a plastic action figure, there are two red hulk figures coming out, one is 37 dollars and is good, but the 8 dollar one for the 3.75 inch line is just a red painted version of the green hulk figure from that line, i would have liked it to look angry instead of a just calm faced marc ruffalo head
sad comment , the weight of the ghost in the shipping box and toy box is too heavy, i think they made it out metal or something, toys arent' supposed to weigh over a hundred pounds, they said the ship weighs 47 pounds but the box with all the packing material weighs even more, i think they ditched using styrofoam and paper and cardboard weigh alot if you use it as packing
They got it because no one else wanted it. They’re investing in RGB and at the very least they’ll make the four main characters and if they break even, they took a risk so they could exist and made the best product possible. They’re kinda heroes for it, frankly.
