As an Indian, I wholeheartedly agree with Sir that India should never consider including Pakistan due to the constant threat of terrorism. However, I respectfully disagree with his stance on Article 370, as it's important to note that it was introduced after the Maharaja had already given his intent of accession. Therefore, some nuances in the narration might be overlooked. While religions themselves aren't inherently bad, it's extremism that poses the real threat. This aspect needs to be addressed and rectified in the narration on religion.

I have started to love conversations with Shabbar Zaidi. He just is mindblowing and really makes his listeners to think. I really enjoy his views and conversation on religion and want to hear more.
Some very good and true points, but when he talks of Islam and Muslims he is thinking only of India/Pak the muslim world and history is a lot more bigger. A lot of the problems with Ulema education are due to the colonialism era. Where did Ibn Khuldun come from ? Who enforces that people follow the true principles ? (answer: the fear of Allah and the state isn't fear of Allah a bigger and better enforcer Than the fear of the state.)
If not India/ Pak, where do you suggest we find true Islam?

Shabbar zaidi is giving holistic view of our problems. We as Pakistani need to look at ourselevs as a country and individuals and compare ourselevs with the developed nations. There is something fundamentally wrong with us. We are stuck and getting worst and worst while other nations are progressing. We cant even put the rubbish in the bin while our religion says that safai is nisf iman.

As a Pakistani born Canadian practicing Neuroscience, I always enjoy Raftar’s podcast but I was shocked to hear your crazy question which I have never heard or read anywhere in credible media nor in any think tank meetings - that point is when you said “Indians are saying that Pakistan will be colony”. This is so ridiculous because first of all, not any serious person or credible media ever reported this. This question I believe is out of frustration just to bring India into conversation so as to do chitrol. I expected much better from Raftar .. like how india is good at medical tourism, Pharmaceutical Induatry, IT, Auto etc etc. It seems that we say such ridiculous things so as to get more viewers or likes, which is not I expect from Raftar Podcast.

دوسری بات اس نے کہا اصول نہیں ہیں ہمارے پاس پھر کہا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ واسلم کی حکومت ختم ہو گئی مگر اصول تھے۔ جب ہمارے نبی صلی اللہ واسلم اصول چھوڑ گئے تھے ہمارے لیے پھر کن اصول کی ضرورت ہے آپ کو ۔ اصول تو آج بھی آئین کی صورت موجود ہیں عمل کی کمی ہے۔ ہمیں دیہویوں اور عیسائیوں کے بنائے اصولوں کی نہیں ضرورت اللہ کے بنائے گئے اصولوں پہ عمل کرنے کی ضرورت ہے کیوں نہیں کہا کہ ہمیں شریع سزائیں نافذ کرنے کی ضرورت ہے کیا اللہ نے اصول نہیں دئیے اگر عالم دین نماز، روزہ، حج زکوۃ کی بات کرتا ہے تو کیا غلط ہے کیا یہ ارکان دین نہیں ہیں؟ فرض عبادات ہیں اور ہر عبادت کے اپنے اصول ،قواعد و ضوابط ہیں کیا عالم دین آپ کو کہتے ہیں خود قرآن نہ پڑھیں ؟ بچوں کو صرف عربی پڑھنا سکھائیں تاکہ بس زندگی میں ایک بار قرآن پڑھ لیں تو بس مسلمان ہونے کا فرض ادا ہو گیا جو غلطیاں اپنی ہیں انہیں دوسروں کے سر نہ ڈالیں عالم دین نے اپنی قبر میں جانا ہے ہم نے اپنی قبر میں
۲ پھر کہا اسلام نے کوئی بھلا نہیں کیا؟ کیسے کہہ سکتے ہیں دین اسلام انسانیت کا دین ہے جسے سمجھ نہیں اس کے لیے بہتر ہے اسلام کی بات نہ کرے اگر مسلمان حرام کے عادی ہو گئے ہیں عمل سے خالی ہیں اس میں اسلام کی غلطی نہیں بلکہ اسلام سے دوری اصل وجہ ہے ہمارے زوال کی ۔قرآن مکمل ضابطہ حیات ہے اس کے ہر حکم پہ عمل کرنے کی ضرورت ہے نہ کہ دین کی آسان چیزوں کو پکڑ لو اور جہان سختی آئے اسے چھوڑ دو ایسے کامیابی نہیں ملتی مولیوں کی غلط باتیں ہیں لیکن یہ ان کا عمل ہے ہم ان کے عمل کے ذمہ دار نہیں نہ وہ ہمارے عمل کے ۔ جس طرح نماز، روزہ آپ کا ذاتی معاملہ ہے بالکل ایسے ہی شلوار پہننا یا جینز یہ عالم دین کا ذاتی معاملہ ہے
