I was curious what this take would be. The addition of horns was not a bad ones. The additional vocals gave it that airy feel I thought this warranted initially.
This song ...as a guy who feels, a veteran and someone who knows history has made me a Sabaton fan for life.
its a very amazing thing to think that this event was both the greatest show of comraderie, acceptance, and showing of no hard feelings of each other and yet...the most heartbreaking and soul crushing as you knew it wasn't going to last and they would be right back to killing each other in almost no time at all despite it all.
This is pretty awesome, but I think it would have been even better if you’d incorporated Floor Jansen’s vocals and the orchestration from the end credits of the official music video. (Maybe some bagpipes in with the guitar solo, in homage to that scene from the movie _Joyeaux Noel_ too.)
This song is phenomenal in all ways. But I personally wished that they kept the guitar fade out that was in the music video in the released song. And Merry Christmas to you all!!!

Foes enjoying the calm truce of a Christmas much like foes enjoying the brothership of the men they fight beside. (Battle of Castle Itter where German and American forces fought off German Waffen SS forces)
