Thank you, milady. I turn 71 next month and even though I’m not as healthy as I once was this music takes me back to the days when I was young. May you live long and prosper.
Yeah Brother (Sister) 61 w chronic health problems. I hear you. A bit younger than you but I certainly had my ear to the radio in the 70s. This playlist is medicinal.
I hear you. I’m going to be 55 in July, and all I think about is how old I am, how I’ll soon be a SENIOR CITIZEN! 😱 How did this happen! 😳 I feel the exact same on the inside as I did when I was in my 30’s, except for I know a lot more now than I did then. I have terrible arthritis in my knees. One night at work someone was pointing out another person to me, and they said “she’s an older lady”. That “older lady” is one year younger than I am! Hearing these songs makes me sad because I miss those days, and I wish I could go back. Instead, the 20-30 years I have left I’ll be an old person, heading to the grave! And time goes so fast, so it will be here quickly.
I’m outside sitting on my deck with my dog drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. I just happened to find this on RUclips, started listening to it and memories started flooding my mind. This has to be the best I’ve felt in a long time. I’m 69 years old was born in 55 these songs mean so much to me they bring the part of my life that was almost perfect thank you young lady from Missouri
