This movie is almost 20 years old, but I feel like it both has more relevance today and would never be made today 😆. This is one of those movies that doesn't always come to mind but is fun to watch. It IS weird to see Deb Morgan acting like that, lol. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I can verify that the bathroom scene is accurate 🤣. If my date was chewing on her toenails at the table, I would be done instantly. Don't care how hot, lol. It's funny that you should mention Mrs Doubtfire, this was the same special effect makeup artist, also did The Mask.
Yeah I’m with you on the toes lol. And that’s cool about the makeup artist! Definitely didn’t know that. The only thing that made them look especially fake to me were the blue contacts. The latex and makeup etc were great.

I LOVE Little Britain!! The Kelsey Grammar School, Emily Howard, CAROL BEER. I don't know if Marc would find it funny, but I love that show. I have watched that scene in the hospital with Carol Beer so many times "Computer says 'ya dead. MOVE!"
Terry Crews made this movie. He really does go all out on everything he does. While I don't know a whole lot about this movie I do have 1 fun fact. That scene in the car where Terry sings that Marc loves; Terry performed in 1 take. As for Wayans brothers movies, I personally think their first is still the best. I'm Gonna Git You Sucka has a lot of cameos and inside jokes. It's clear to see that Keenan was influenced by Zucker-Abrahms-Zucker, Mel Brooks and maybe even Monty Python. The second movie is good too. Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood (yes, that really is the name) is a parody of all the black movies and shows portraying gang stuff of the time. Still more 4th wall breaks and stuff. Lots of fun.
Quit with the pro noun nonsense there were no pro nouns back then so it doesn't apply they were MEN PRETENDING TO BE WOMEN unless that what's you mean that the whole pronoun thing is PRETEND
I must have gone to a different kind of school than you because we definitely had dance competitions usually with a rap battle or two as well. And I’ve actually had a friend ask me to bring the Vaseline in case of cat fight - no straight razors though 🤣🤣
They aren’t supposed to look like real white women - that’s part of the absurdity of the humour. Most slapstick movies highlight a world which isn’t strictly real. That’s what adds to the outlandish humour. It all works, because everyone acts as if they actually look like the sisters, where they obviously look like men. It’s kind of a foreshadowing to the world we live in now if you think about it.
I had never thought about it that way! Now that you mention it, I’m sure there are other comedies like that too, where it’s just too crazy to be real, but everyone’s just humming along like normal.

I only watched this for the first time last year and omg I laughed more than I laughed in a long time. Terry Crews was the goat here. As Marc said, it is pretty obvious that the under cover look was very fake - that sometimes took me out of the movie, but nonetheless it is a such a trip and that dinner scene will always be memorable lol
