Another reason why Multiverse is getting a lot more popular these days is because many people like to believe that there is an alternate timeline where their lives might be better or a world that their life might be worse. Also movies like "Happy Death Day" and shows like "Rick and Morty" and isekai light novels and anime (even animes like Attack on Titian) are contributing to it's popularity as well. Yes, Marvel has played the biggest part in in, but since we have tropes like time travel popular since ages, it is not surprising that it is gaining a lot of popularity. Fanservice will always be the leading cause though.
You're a celebrity in my eyes, Cam. I enjoyed your thoughts on creating an anthology. Do you think you will ever do it again? I'm looking forward to your new collection.
I like to see a video about some of the logistics of producing some written works, like who you pay to edit an indie novel, or where to find one, and how to source the parts to make a completed work. I'm asking because I am planning on writing my debut novel, and I am trying to figure out stuff like and editor.
I'm writing a novel and I have to say. The whole. "Am I wasting my time?" When I'm doing something that isn't my job or writing. Is a very relatable question. I thought I was the only one.
I love your idea for more collaboration between AuthorTubers. I've long felt it a shame we don't see more team ups the way I see on other sectors of RUclips. And it sort of ties into the other issue I have with AuthorTube, that while I understand the use of RUclips as a marketing platform, a lot of these guys feel like they're almost entirely marketing themselves (moreso than _actually writing_ if I'm being honest) and as a result I don't feel that love of books/stories from most channels the way I do with you or Daniel Greene. As for drama, I generally think on AuthorTube toxicity is something that comes when you go looking for it. I sort of feel like the people who find all the drama in some way feed off of it, even if they're not realising it. That's not to criticise, just to say that if you're constantly surrounded by petty bs, you might want to re-evaluate who you're following. I've been there, both online and irl, and distanced myself from people who were otherwise nice but just couldn't get out of the drama cycle.
04:22 I really appreciate you are explaining things just like you explained IRL since I'm watching you as a non-native to english language and it is so helpful that you tend to explain things with short but understandable explanations! 😊
Wonderful Q&A answers. I especially liked the procrastination advice. It's very true for me; when I'm reading a good fantasy novel, I can't help but think about my unfinished fantasy novel and want to work on it. So many great references in this video! I'm finishing the last book of The Dark Tower this week; the multiverse crossovers are a lot of fun. Peace.
Hi Cam! RUclips sucks bruh! O don’t get notifications when you upload! Not cool! Things are great! I’m doing well! All treatments are completed and now I’m getting back to work! Great seeing you! ❤️USA2AUS ❤️
Thk u for answering my questions man, I feel better about my writing now. Also, I think ur position on authortube and it's toxicity is definitely a smart move. U always struck me as the type tht didn't wanna stir the pot and I think thts cool man. Also, can I do an anthology story for ur nxt one?
The multiverse is already such a tired trope. Every major franchise suddenly has a multiverse...and it's BORING. Having a single connected universe wherein many stories take place, on the other hand, is much more interesting.

Thanks Regina! I'm definitely going to front another anthology this year, after I get my own collection done haha. (Hopefully that will be May)

You definitely make some good points! Thanks for watching 😃
Ohhh, interconnected story threads, and linked back to your novel...color me intrigued.

Great video! I seriously have a problem with starting a bunch of projects 🙃 I stick mostly to poetry. 😊
It seems like us writers have a good habit of collecting half finished projects 😂
@1:49 Never underestimate the awe inspiring power of the "hometown hero" trope. CHEERS!

Only a sith deals in absolutes.
