Thanks! Yeah, this certification means a lot to me. Even though it's not an "IT" cert, I personally like project management and I feel like I learned a lot.
hey man, i been browsing through some of your vids and appreciate the content. i’m 17 and thinking of doing WGU when i graduate for cybersecurity and was looking for any advice, recommendations, or anything like that. i have no previous knowledge about anything to do with the field and was maybe wondering if you had advice on a schedule to get through the classes? even if you don’t have the answer for these thank you and have a good day!
I don't know. Maybe not for larger organizations, but smaller companies (at least the ones I've worked for), don't always have dedicated project manager positions. Instead, some of the employees take on the responsibility of managing projects for their department in addition to their normal job.
Wow is there a certain job you’re pursuing that requires all of these certifications and a masters degree? I was considering entering the cyber security world but all the certifications you have seems like a huge barrier to entry for me if they’re all needed to get into the field.
Don't let what you see me doing discourage you. I've been IT for a decade. You don't need a degree or certifications to be successful in cybersecurity. They won't hurt, but being hands on and learning is more important. Regarding the job... I'm actually happy where I am now. I'm not actively pursuing anything else. I'm mainly just enjoying the journey, but I'd be lying if I said that I don't expect these certifications and the MBA to open new doors for me in the near future.
@@CameronEvolved That really encouraged me 😄 I slipped into a bit of a depression yesterday just thinking about it but you got me outta my head, so thank you! I’m a WGU grad as well 🙌🏾 just finished my degree in IT management in one term as of July 5th, and in December im going for the same MBA as you! I really do appreciate all that you share, even your Invisalign journey lol it made me look into those as well haha! I know this is just your space to share your life and not get followers but thank you, you’re really making an impact on my life for the better. I aspire to do the great things you do that are so natural for you. You dropped this, king 👑!
Congratulations!! That's a great certification to have.

Congrats! I'm studying for the CAPM now. I'll use some of the resources you mentioned.
Good luck!
I've passed CAPM in April and will give PMP tomorrow.
Congratulations. I hope courses are going well for you.
Thanks!

Hey, did you work of Ft Myer in 2018?
Been hearing news that most formula related questions are not appearing in exams... any truth to this?
Is it common for people to be able to lead projects without the PMP?

Did you get the CAPM?
Nope. I went straight for the PMP since I already met the experience requirements.
