- Welcome to Cape May New Jersey for a special downtown tour of Cape May NJ. Cape May is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever visited. The homes in Cape May are stunning and the architecture is just amazing. I have been to Key West many times and I think Cape May has that same beach town feel. The have some great restaurants and unique eateries and I will show you a few in this video as we walk the streets of downtown Cape May. Do not miss Masons for a Sticky bun and Masons for a lobster roll.
If your staying in Wildwood New Jersey, this is a great stop as it is very close to Cape May.

We just got home tonight from our Cape May / Wildwoods vacation, all thanks to your videos! We LOVED it! We stayed Sunday-Thursday and are already planning our next trip back. We had Mad Batter and Hot Dog Tommy’s on your recommendation and we were not disappointed. Keep up the awesome travel videos! Where are we going next??

@@AlongForTheJourney I can’t pick a winner! We stayed at a hotel in Wildwood Crest and we went to Cape May twice but the Wildwood boardwalk only once, so maybe that says it! The rest of the time we spent at the beach and our hotel pool. Thanks for everything you do and the high quality videos. I never would have booked this trip if we hadn’t watched your videos. Now we can’t wait to go back! I’ve got lobster roll withdrawals 😂

for me Cape May is HOME... I Lived there from 1982 to 2007. over 20 years I worked at The Pilot House from 1986 to 2006

Sitting on lifeguard stand at cove beach 35 years ago told my then girlfriend some day we would have a house here well 30 years later me and my now wife did buy a house in Cape May went back to the same stand the night of settlement said to her well we did it she had goose bumps lol it truly is paradise live your dreams life is short enjoy every day

Cape May Elementary School has an indoor pool, twice a week we'd have swimming instead of gym... Best place/time to grow up in the 80s 🫶

used to have a drug store on the mall across from the mug. now a clothing store. cape mayh has about 600 victoria buildings.
Cape May is just a gem. I can't believe I didn't discover sooner.
That drug store had an awesome CD selection, one of the few places for locals to buy music

Thank you for making this video. I count Cape May as one of my favorite places to go. I stayed at the Virginia Hotel when I was there and everything was walking distance. It's quaint, historic, clean and wonderful; the perfect place to reconnect.

I was there the week before Memorial Day on a bus tour. We ate lunch at the Washington Inn. Just fabulous.

It's so funny you said that Donna. I am editing a video as we speak on another boardwalk I did yesterday and I just got to the Quincy's part on that boardwalk. Lol. Yes i have had lobster rolls all over including Maine and i still think Quincys has the best. No filler just lobster butter and some spices. The one yesterday did not disappoint. That video will be coming out this weekend hopefully... You will love Cape May if you never been there. Have a great safe trip and want to hear about it. @@AlongForTheJourney looking forward to seeing that video. Yes we have been to Cape May before and we absolutely love it. We call it our favorite place. We also do the whale watching dolphin excursion. We take the Lewis ferry to Delaware. We’re staying at a bed-and-breakfast, and we absolutely love the Washington Street Mall. We’re are definitely going to the Lobster House. Every time we go to Cape May we go there. But thanks for the tip on Quincy lobster rolls. Cannot wait to try them. That was on our list of places to try. Aren’t there two locations? One on Washington Street Mall and one near the beach. If so does it matter which one we go to? Videos are very helpful. Not aware of quincys near the beach. There is another lobster roll place next to the arcade but never had one from there. You gave me some great tips for next visit. 👍👍

Would this be somewhere you would recommend a 21 year old from the UK to work for a summer? Many bars or young people?
No... its a quiet town in the evening and older crowd... I would suggest Wildwood NJ only a few miles away or Ocean City Md for someone your age. 👍👍😎😎
