After over a decade as a house music lover and supporter of the local scene, Beaubien was born in 2012, when Lila Bujold started mixing soulful and deep house music. Born and raised in Vancouver, BC this Westcoast Canadian found a deep affection and love for East Coast House Music. Soulful vocals, happy keys and rich bass lines bring depth and warmth to her mixes.
Beaubien's Carte Blanche radio show airs every Saturday night 7-8pm PST on SPiNZFM.COM and mixes the best in soulful and deep house with an uplifting and inspirational vibe. She also holds a residency at the Distillery Bar in Vancouver, BC where she mixes the sounds of the "future past" ; crooner, 60s spy movie, soul, swing and jazz classics and modern throwbacks.
