- Playing Modern Warfare 2019 now is absolutely crazy, the experience is not what I expected and believe it or not this game is still playable in 2024. This game is now 5 years old and there is still a playerbase and community keeping MW2019 alive. In today's video I'll show how Modern Warfare 2019 plays online in 2024, how bad the hacking situation is, and how the player population for Modern Warfare 2019 is holding up. Overall this game is still very playable, even though Activision and Infinity Ward have abandoned the game. Can we go back to this aesthetic for CoD? I really hate how the cosmetics for MW2 and MW3 are so goofy. It clashes so hard with the realistic graphics.
I legit was surprised at how well this game has held up visually, it looks amazing still
MW2019 visually looks better than MWII and MWIII. Even without the skins it still looked better.

Everything from the guns, calling cards and overall atmosphere of this game was great. One of my favorite CODs of all time. Even the campaign was awesome.

this game is why i feel like it's good when companies are doing bad. before this game cod was on a downhill trend then they were like "alright alright lets actually make a good game" and now they're back at square 1 recycling the good format until they forget what made their series good
cold war, vanguard, and mw2/3 are all legit just mw2019. i wish they were okay with taking risks with new titles, i think everyone would appreciate something different

It’s the ultimate online shooter. It’s got the basics down to a T. Do you really need more than this? I mean it’s perfect. Just gotta stop cheaters and negative people and those who are never satisfied, from ruining the fun. Ima download it again now that I know it’s not dead.

Mw2019 is my favorite modern cod. Enjoyed this game from day 1. Grinded Damascus and a couple obsidian camos.
Looking back this game was pretty good. Ground war was sick. And it was the last game I could play before I graduated

mw2019 is still great to this day with most of its stuff iron out, just sad that 10v10 mosh pit got removed the last time i played it during mw2 (2022) year.
I've been staying at a friends place and only have my laptop, so going back and playing Black Ops 1/2 on Plutonium has been a regular occurrence when I need my Multiplayer FPS fix. I think most COD games are much more enjoyable after their release year. It's something that I think Halo sees as well, with how people remember games like H4/5 much more fondly now that they aren't the current newest game in the franchise. Playing some of those COD games I grew up with brings a special type of zen/inner peace state that new games simply don't have. I rarely find myself getting upset by them compared to the new games which hyper-focus on SBMM and things like that.
No FOV slider on console hurts though...
oof that's tough, but I imagine consoles trying to handle this game is tough, it still requires beefy specs to run
@BBKDRAGOON Yeah, I also just didn't enjoy the game. This is the turning point where I basically stopped playing CoD. I bought Cold War, MWII 2022 and even MWIII 2023 but I didn't play them but for a second. I don't see myself going back into the franchise. Just doesn't have the same appeal as the older games did and still do

The aesthetics, gunplay and movement of this game are still and will remain unmatched
You should always be able to find a match in TDM during the day for COD Ghost and up. But there’s a good number of people that still play Hardcore TDM in BO4 and up.
As a Halo player I wish there was a casule social war mode that was easy to get kills with every weapon and vehicle across the entire Halo Universe. While unlocking game changing armor, equipment, and abilities that you could use to create your own unique character/loadout to become a true demon on the battlefield.
If a mode like this was in Halo and it’s not competitive/tactical warfare focus with no SBMM and you have to grind for what you want, it would definitely bring in millions of old and new players from other franchises.
this next cod we are getting has been in development for what 4 years now so i have high expectations
My only real gameplay complaint on MWIII is that it has people actually spawning behind you constantly. I can’t deal with that. I remember that the only complaint I had with 2019 was the new paywall locking cosmetics. I played it enough to burn myself out and get damascus though. I enjoy the slower pace compared to the faster pace though.

This was the first cod I bought at launch, and I did not regret it one bit, while this game had its fare share of issues, overall it has to be one of the best in the series that I've played, the change in gameplay to have it be at a more tactical and slower pace was also a breath of fresh air from having literal jetpacks and robots everywhere in the prior games
I bought at launch and never got to play it once cause my Xbox broke and I never bought another one. I’m gonna go buy a Xbox today to catch up on all the cods I’ve missed.

MW2019 is way better than MW2 and MW3. it's getting worse and worse, especially since MW3 is a total mess. also putting all abominations into a warzone is the worst decision they made. warzone pacific? warzone pacific caldera? what kind of bullsht is that? serisouly they keep f**ked up.

MW3 Multiplayer is alot of fun, totally recommend (Probably wait for a sale tho)
If you can, perhaps when it's on a sale, MW3 multiplayer is fun. They made a lot of good changes from MW2. That's just my opinion but I have a blast with MW3 multiplayer and the MWZ.
The gunplay and movement in this game was so damn clean and smooth, most of the base maps are kinda trash tho.
I downloaded it on ps4 today cuz i have it in library on that acc,had to make a new one for ps5 but for some reason i cant access either campaign nor mp, i want to play mp but it simply doesnt show any option at all. Just warzone 2.0 which i cant access or buy it again for some reason. Makes no sense as i played it for 3 years

This game is great. Got me through the height of COVID when I was stationed in South Korea. Yeah, I had to play with avid South Koreans (they're way better than the average American COD player), but I still had a blast.
I also don't really know what people are talking about when it comes to bad map design and camping. It's not hard to learn spawns if you just put a little effort into it. And the ability to edit your loadouts mid-match means that if someone is playing an incredibly snobby playstyle you can change it to counter them. I think that's one thing that COD players just never learned to do, instead complaining that someone is hampering their single playstyle instead of trying to outsmart their opponent.
But then again I'm also a Halo and StarCraft player, so maybe it's just a lot easier for me than most COD players.
Btw, MW3 (original) on the Xbox still has a pretty huge amount of players, so feel free to give it a go. Just be warned that there are hackers plaguing this game, so expect to run into them every 3-4 matches.

Idk how people still think MW2019s “movement system” is good. It’s exactly the same as MW2022. What you liked about the so-called movement were the glitches and exploits which completely disqualify it from discussion on movement.

MW3 ism actually pretty fun to play. As always give them time and it gets better. That also happend with MW3 and also MW3 is more focused on community wishes so the game is acutally in a pretty good state also in 2 Days we will have a new season which looks pretty promising also Resurgence Rebirth is worth giving a try. And also im saying all of that as someone who doesnt like the way COD went at all ^^

Yeah the engine feels a lot better than mw3 engine. Something about mw3 I just don’t like. Taking a break this year to play other games and wait for Treyarchs COD.

The thing I miss the most is the aesthetic and thematic approach of MW2019. I find MWIII to play the most fun but MW19 to look the best. I hate how Call of Duty and modern games in general completely kill their aesthetic and theme for tons of crossovers and ridiculous skins. I wish Infinity Ward wasn't so full of themselves and listened to the fans than MW2019 could have been a lot better paced.
I'm a COD fan since COD2 and I still play and MWIII is my most played multiplayer of the new Modern Warfare era. The MP is designed for the fans in terms of gameplay designs and it has a good selection of maps, new and the OG MW2 maps. We are getting SIX new maps with Season 3 this week.
If they just buried a disable cosmetics option it would make everyone happy, but sadly they'll never do that.

Been playing this game again recently, I mostly come across hackers on ground war, hardpoint, and rare occasion domination. I heard s&d is filled with them. Other than that the game is fun but filled with toxic players but thats cod lol. Just ignore them.

I always considered 2019 the best cod of all time, until MW3 (2023) came out. Keep in mind i grew up with all the old cods and although they were great for their time. The New MW3 has to be the best of all time. Don’t let the crybabies drive you away from trying the game out.

theres not many things in this life i hatebut this game really is of of those things on that list terrible maps bad spawns gunplay isnt good the movement is glazed for no reason just cuz its spammable doesnt make it good and so much more
What I find funny with this is, MW19 has decent movement, but the gamers cried about it being to exploitable. The developers changed that in MW2, gamers cried again saying it was too slow and wanted MW19 movement back. The devs AGAIN improved the movement with a couple of updates and the gamers still cried about it. Gotta love the rollercoaster of love and hate with the CoD community
@@Th3W4tchman the movement was very exploitable thats why u see tiktoks of people running in circles getting one kill and posting it it was super obnoxious it was instant mw2 was just dogshit even with good movement pressing spamming three buttons without even actually needing to use ur brain and being called a skill gap is hilarious
this game was mid, the maps weren’t very good, the campaign was good tho, bad spec ops, good graphics, no classic minimap, Sbmm, fast ttk, I feel like this game ruined cod for the last 5 years. But still it had some good things like movement, and gunsmith. but overall I think it’s a mid cod, i will take Cold War over mw2019 any day.

I hear that! I really struggle on a lot of the maps to have a sense of where opponents could be. A lot of that I know is my inexperience but so much of the map design is just wild

As much as I despised MW 2019, I will admit that there's nothing in the last 5 years of COD as satisfying as running around and going off with an MP5 in that game.
The game still feels FAR more authentic and real than MWII and III due to having the guns modeled near-identical to the real world counterparts and having the REAL names of the guns, rather than II and III that try to copy 19's homework and change it up slightly as to not get caught cheating. Those weapons feel far less satisfying due to how botched they were, model and name wise.
That's pretty much all the praise I can give this pile of shit, though.
