Great colab guys, Love to see it! PvP is far and away my favourite part of the game and it definitely needs some love again. It’s nice seeing more champ variety in arena again but there’s still glaring issues to be seen to
You can enjoy live arena at the low level as a f2p but its a short live enjoyment. Because if you love it, you will progress and when you do, you're in trouble. I love live arena from watching Drock but after moving into the gold tier, I dunno what I love anymore.

In your conversation on game balance, I completely agree with you both, however I think that Plarium sees Raid as monetized game of hopscotch. They are not overly interested in balance, they are interested in people spending on the latest and greatest champs. Viewing the game through this lens makes sense out of Plarium's moves, IMO, and explains why they tend to slow-play balance issues.

Loving the recent colabs and content as a whole. I find myself actually prefering PvP content in game at the moment. Fortunately I have a nicely varied selection of champs and since I'm making a point of playing purely for enjoyment and not feeling pressured into other areas I'm much morr enjoying building champs and theory crafting to get the most out of my champs and account. Recently just pushed into silver 4 in live and consistently staying in high gold 5 classic

Still think you should be able to challenge specific teams/members practice arena battles against friends even if it has no affect on your ranking. It would be great for colabs or pvp tournaments irl.
Any game where you can spend more to have an advantage won't ever be a proper PVP game

Maybe for arena they could introduce that you can be attacked from a same clan only a limited number of times within a time frame. For example Panda can be attacked from MAD only 3 times in 5 minutes. This would not allow blitzing any more.

my low acc never land on their high resist champs, even nukers but they get sheeped more often :P
rebalances are dreadfully needed, especially for older champs INCLUDING EPIC
it sux cuz most of the fixes would be easy, reduce CD of skills 1-2 turns and up their base speed

In normal game thay would add counter to lockout, but lockout sells so well and its so rare they will never do rock paper scissors.
The best thing they could to is just to make it for plat so that you can only hit the attack button, and whomever you get in plat, you get them. That's literally the only solution. Then you would have to attack anyone

The problem with the Urogrim nerf was that I was literally the week after they ran a shard pulling event for him. The timing was so incredibly unethical.

When you guys talk about resistance, it really doesn’t make sense to build your champ with high res. My phytion have almost 700 res which I sacrifice other stats because my gear luck sucks, let me tell you never once he resist a lockout from warlord or yumeko. I’m at gold 2 LA and it’s impossible to resist anything without having 1000+ resistance or that bs 3% luck.

What if there were additional rewards for using epics and even rares in arena?
We shouldn’t be able to pick our enemy teams. Just like in live arena. Opponents should be picked at random.
Also it would be great to have regional plat.
Also should change plat from 500 players, to a percentage to scale with the player base.

I don't use polymorph or Armanz in my live arena battles because it slows everything down and I want to get the fights done quickly.
Galathir got one Weakness no one uses against him. He boost turnmeter before he puts on Block Debuffs. meaning, Tormin can freeze his whole team even if he cleanses. :) as a Galathir "haver" i hate it xD
Their matchmaking algorithm is so broken bc live arena ranking is almost entirely based on how many games you've played. The points rewarded should allow strong accounts to climb quickly to higher ranks. Tons of games use these kinds of algorithms in pvp, so its nothing new. But Plarium has taken the approach that they want live arena to be a grind rather than engaging content.

It will always be frustrating it's the nature of the game. Often times I'll fight a level 65 account and I just know they are going to pull out super OP champs. It doesn't matter that my account is more diverse and has better gear when they have all mythicals and void legendaries that counter my account. I wish champs could be acquired through gameplay but people are buying them so it won't happen.
I don’t want blind pvp- I want more knowledge going into a fight by seeing what gear sets the enemy is running so I can strategize and counter them properly
That’s not what the blind pvp meant, it’s so people don’t get targeted.
Plat arena needs a blind queue no idea who you are fighting, someone within +/- 100 points of your current rating or no identifiers in the list at all. The dodging/win trading, etc. needs to stop.
Plat end time needs to rotate, it can be real simple, +3 hours a week, takes two months to rotate completely, if Paylarium want to monitor they can have their one or two guys that watch this stuff rotate their work schedule. Better to inconvenience a couple employees rather than the entire player base.
live arena would be so fun without the RNG of polymorph and the cancer that is armanz
Guess i am one of Shinis vievers that doesn't defend Armanz. The 4 piece stoneskin version is way to cancer to face. My winrate with armanz is way to high and my winrate without him is way too low because in 90% of the battles i have to decide between banning him or something like krixia, warlord, yumeko, galathir or harima. For me he is just another op champ on top what was already unfun in live arena. I barely play it and i wish it took me way longer to reach gold because now everytime enemy gets first pick i have to look at this stupid fake jack sparrow.
I'd like one step further than blind arena, I would rather you not pick the team you are against. Just hit match like live and you get someone's defense at random. Players will find a way to figure out who is who if they are picking the teams for sure. But yeah as it is nobody outside the big collusion groups gives a crap about classic any more.

Drock calls out Galathir being op at 50:38 but he isn't that strong. I have him and if I am against a team with Krixia she just locks me out and I get obliterated. Krixia is 10x better than all the galathirs in the world. I would trade my Galathir for a Krixia any time of the day. Lockout is just that good. Galathir is just a better Duchess, Krixia is a Warlord and a Kymar combined into one, it's absolutely disgusting and the most broken champion in the game. I would trade my entire account for a Krixia
If raid wanted to improve the game theyd stop taking advice from the 1% of players.
well i feel like they arent taking advice from them at all because game would be very different, and i literally say on the video they shouldnt listen to any spesific player for game balance just look at the stats of champion usage and win rate and go from there.
