I am from China, and watched the entire 90 minute debate just yesterday during my drive back home from work. It was horrible yet strangely entertaining. General impression, Trump was behaving like what he was, but Biden... All the stutters, and the unclear voice he produces, and the bizarre facial expressions and robotic movement of hands and legs. He was a disaster.

The cognitive test that Trump took and brags about taking is a test to gauge damage to someone's brain after they've had a stroke. Which Trump must have had. In Feb. 2019 Trump was taken to Walter Reed in the middle of the night for an emergency "check up" (that's the story the WH went with when it happened). Shortly after that was when Trump began talking about the cognitive test. Trump had a high functioning recovery after at least one stroke. He's more likely to have more.

I just can't believe someone so mentally exhausted and utterly burned out at age EIGHTY ONE would actually still WANT to be POTUS for another 4 years (arguably the most stressful, most awful job in the world), as opposed to just peacefully relaxing in his luxurious home for his remaining 5-10 years on this planet. If by some crazy miracle Biden wins POTUS again, he is going to be suffering in enormous mental and physical anguish for another 4 years and either go completely insane or have a massive coronary/stroke. OH NO WAY, the hell with that. I’d resign in a heartbeat, and go home to relax and heal. But Biden’s narcissistic ego won’t allow him to do that, even at 81. Trump is the exact same way. These people would prefer to have a fatal stroke on the job, than relax and die peacefully in a big comfortable bed, with their family by their side.

Northam defended the bill and went to unfortunate lengths about how 'humane' it would be - the child would be delivered and made comfortable, then a discussion with the mother and a DR would take place as to whether the new born would receive care or be allowed to die. I'm pro-reality, not pro-life or pro-abortion; Abortion should be avoided as much as possible but there are also hard realities which need to be considered. In any case, the Virginia bill shocked me to my core.

The national democratic committee could choose another candidate for the democratic ticket for president. This would force biden to drop out or run as an independent, which would require getting on the ballot in the vast majority of states and to win the electoral college (which never happens for independents).

I detest both candidates, but I have to say I thought the moderators did a good job being neutral. I loathe it when the moderators step in and fact check (regardless of who is being corrected). They asked both candidates tough questions and then let their opponent call them on their answers. But given Biden's struggles, Trump got to say whatever he wanted on his tough questions with no cross examination. In contrast, Biden faceplanted on his tough questions. And then Trump buried him.
