I have never been taught the Word like this... I'm truly thankful for the way he teaches..I have learned an amazing amount of the Bible because of the way he teaches it. I can rely on his teaching because of the Bible scriptures that he always quotes along side of it. .There is no sugar coat. He is precise. He brings it to my level... I appreciate that... Literally just had this conversation with my dad where I asked the question how do I know that God loves me? Just because "the bible says so"...? Yeah, no that doesn't cut it. How does God know I love Him? By how I live my life towards Him? How do I know my dog loves me? By how she greets me with exuberant joy, follows me around like a shadow, and how she jumps up to sit next to me and licks my hand... same deal with God: how do I know God loves me? It's meant to be experiential NOT memorised scripture. It's based on KNOWING HIM not knowing about Him.
