SHOVEL KNIGHT Characters: Good To Evil ⛏️
The definition of indie game, Shovel Knight became a roaring success story, becoming the definitive Kickstarter game. This love letter to the NES era of gaming marries the ideas of old gameplay of the Mega Man series with the Duck Tales NES game. The game mixes in new and innovative level design and gameplay, mainly involving the characters. At the start of the journey, there was only Shovel Knight and his refined move set. Now, after so many free upgrades for the game, Yacht Games has basically created four new games thanks to how wildly different the main characters play their roles. There’s the Plague Knight, Specter Knight, and King Knight taking the roles of playable characters. And this isn’t even mentioning the Showdown mode, which is basically a mini version of Super Smash Bros Ultimate, letting you play as even more characters. However, this begs the question: which characters are the most chivalrous, and which are the most vile?

I honestly love Specter knights lines though, he has got some of the best lines ever
Yeah plague of shadow's end gives me the warm and fuzzies
One more thing about King Knight: after meeting Cardia he denied her planet help from a terrible calamity and would only help if they became his subjects. So yeah he might’ve doomed an entire planet
Saying shovel knight's bounce is taken from Ducktales is actually a common misconception, they actually got the idea from Zelda 2. They just thought it would be more fun to get more than 2 inches of height from bouncing on something.

@@mastaplex651 In the interview they said they first came up with it from Zelda 2. Ducktales might have inspired them to alter it, but it wasn't the original concept.

Based on the plot of Showdown, it can be seen that Dark Reizy is a separate personality from the regular Reizy. So, he also needed to be added to this list and given the silver medal of the evil side.
I still strongly believe that King Knight deserves the silver medal, but Dark Reize definitely deserves bronze.
You have to remember, the Lich Yard, Glidewing, and everything else destroyed wasn't because the Enchantress wanted to, but rather because King Knight wanted to. The entire state of the Shovel Knight world is because of King Knight.

I believe the Phantom Striker is actually a wandering soul. He was the Shovel Knight of his age and used to live in the area that's now known as the Lich Yard.
He fought the Enchantress when she was still alive but ended up getting killed by the evil sorceress which ends in his hometown getting destroyed.
His spirit now travels the world looking for something powerful enough to end the Enchantress and keep the world save, that's why he fought Shovel Knight thinking he might be strong enough for the task, that's why he hated Donovan as he was working for her.
I honestly doubt it. Every ghost we see has the blue tint and wiggles. Also every ghost we fight we can not dammage normally but have to use magic items while Phantom takes normal dammage.
If he was a spirit we would have to forget everything we know about SK ghosts
I always thought he was a surviving Luan from the tower going on a quest to purge all evil magic but I don’t know lore so idfk
The Enchantress should have gotten first place in good for making Joustus alone.
I really liked this, however I feel like there could’ve have been more of an expanded list. For example some of the characters in KoC such as King Knights Mom, Pridemoor, Cooper/Bard, and even some tower of fate characters such as the dark alcolyte or missy. Even I feel like Liquid samurai and gold armor could have a place given their stories based on showdown
the gap between King knight, and The Enchantress is HUGE... like from plains to tower of fate huge.

I have a memory of hearing that it has been confirmed each campaign is the story from it’s protagonist’s prospective and that shovel knight and specter knight are reliable story tellers and plague knight and king knight are mostly unreliable narrators

Second: He barges in Plague Knight's lab
Third: He put the apples in the water
Fourth: he Destroyed Mole Knight's Bathtub
Fifth: He Stole Propeller Knight's rose
Sixth: he scared the fish away
Seventh: He Barges in To Tinker Knight's house (Edit he is paranoid.)
And eighth: He betrayed everyone for the enchantress/Enchanter

In my school vr game goalius was there trying to find a remenent of a 300 year old war called the calamity war black Knight knows Goalius because of the fact goalius stole black and shovel knights shovels and started digging underneath the tower of fate and after that Goalius become possessed by the enchantress and this boss fight as both knights shows you how powerful Goalius is like one of ANY OF HIS/HER ATTACKS is a ko but that's in story where it's shield knight and rases to the rescue by bringing the entire town on goalius killing the enchantress and freeing Goalius and also freeing the mobile armour harsh Mal midnight buster type ( it's basically a army obliterator unit ) that ended with goalius

This might be a fun video to see 1UpBinge do, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles 1 and 2 Characters good to evil, but only the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles 1and 2 characters. This means Ryunosuke Naruhodo, Kazuma Asogi, Susato Mikotoba, Yujin Mikotoba, Herlock Sholmes, Iris Wilson, Mail Stronghart and others etc.
I say the great Ace Attorney Chronicles 1 and 2 characters only because if they were to include the characters from Phoenix Wright, Mia Fey, Apollo Justice, Athena Cykes, Edgeworth investigations, and Professor Layton crossover, it would be like a never ending video, and no one wants videos to be too long. So they can do the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles 1 and 2 characters good to evil for starters since they have less characters than the other Ace attorney games combined.

hive knight is behind behind shield, hes a good guy, he seems to care about the grub pit even saying the heist could feed the entire hive, the only problem is when fleck gets hurt he tends to go into a rage.
right behind hive is prism knight shes a good person she became an adventurer to find and save her father though she was convinced by the enchantress to trap knights in the pocket dungeon other wise shes good at heart
spore knight is behind black for a reason there a good girl but she idolize drill knight that she doesnt realize drill doesnt really care about them even saying drill likes them so much he made it so shes always at the top far away from him
i place puzzle knight as a transition to the grey area, hes good in helping people but also said how hes gonna make it so the player will take his place as pocket dungeon master then again he didnt know this whole thing was the enchantress doing
drill knight hes complicated hes kinda leaning on behind polar knight he is a theif with all the heists, but he does care about his team even runing to them when they were attacked.
scrap knight oh shes right behind treasure she is greedy, impatient and impulsive. its obvious she joined for the treasure, she also has ideas that suggest she might betray the hexcavators but nobody knows.

@@fedyfabr no in the prequel shovel knight dig the 4th boss is a called hive knight. its probably a coincidence that both series have a knight named the same thing
I'd say shield knight is probably more moral than shovel knight because he left defensless people and came back only when he realized that she is still alive.
