Hello Elizabeth. I do think it is time for another ranking video. My last foundation video a few months back just covered every release. I think I need to now just do my favorites. I appreciate the suggestion very much!
Both shades work, but the 310 seems perfect and then you can bronze up with bronzer. The 310 will work for you better in the winter as well. Great reviews 🙂

I have never tried Lancôme foundation before; however I also purchased this a few days ago. Wearing it for first time today and I really do like it a lot! I am 55 with mature skin, light texture and redness bare skin. Recently went down the beauty “rabbit hole” and have tried multiple foundations in a short time. I’m about 6 hours in on wear and I believe this one is my favorite so far! Also 310
Hello Natalie! This is a very very pretty foundation. It’s easy to wear. It’s comfortable. It’s just enough coverage without being too much. It lasts a nice long time and it’s very flattering. I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about it and it sounds like you are agreeing.
Hello Beth! I don’t even know if it has much of a glow, to be honest. I think they might mean that it’s not flat like their previous matte foundation but I suppose that’s even longer of a name ha ha.

I like the 330 darker one better. I also just watched Risa's video on picking shades of foundation and she suggested to always pick the darker one, so that may be influencing my choice!
All of the try ons have been filmed and I have everything together and ready to go. New releases have been putting that poor little video off to the side. But I’m actually really excited about it. I have so many of them in front of me. It’s a bit overwhelming. I never really realized how many versions of each mascara that Brand makes. It’s baffling.
I haven’t read any other comments, so this is my fresh opinion. I prefer the 310 side. The other one leans grey-ish. I have had foundations lean grey on me and I never wore them. They ended up decluttered. Nowadays, in order to prevent this, I no longer purchase grey-leaning foundations. I hope you know what I mean… it’s hard to explain, but “grey” is the best word I found so far!!! 💖
Skin twin, I was waiting for you to review this. Wow, the shades are so close, but I think I like the 330 better. When I was looking at this on the Sephora site I was choosing 310 for myself. Now I think I may have to go with 330. Thank you!
It’s so confusing, Emily. And you can see that they might even have matched me, say, in store, with something else! When you get 30 shades like this they are very subtle in difference. But I think the darker gives a little bit of a prettier look.
More foundation xx I got to admit I purchased a loreal one 2 try woz about £10 ,u do need more than the more expensive ones so I will wait for offers.xxxx

I never trust those shade finders. I have no idea why it got in my head this time. But most people are preferring the 330 and I kind of prefer the 310 with a bronzer. Brightens the face.
On camera to me the 330 looks more neutral and the 310 is a little warmer. You can definitely wear either and its going to come down to personal preference. I'm leaning toward the 330 side and I like the paired back makeup. Thats defintely my go to regular look. A bit of coverage to even out the skin, a little blush and some colour on the lips. Perfect. I'm glad you're going to skip bronzer now for foundation reviews because it does change things.

You always look great! However, in this case I think the 310 looks a slight bit better. It seems to brighten that side of your face. Thanks for the video!
Let me tell you, the sunshine ☀️ is warm in Jersey too! Heatwave this week with over 100 temps. I am really wanting to try this foundation. This past Friday I went to Sephora but they didn’t have it out yet and I asked the girl even if it was in the back lol she said no but I have to wonder if it was back there anyhow I’m patiently waiting for it to come to stores because I like to see the colors in person.
I so agree, Belinda! They often don't even know what's in the back, waiting. It's like, "Do you mind if I just go back and check? I won't disturb anything." hahaha. Seeing the colors in person really is the WAY TO GO!
I always look up the item and see if it says it's available for pick up in store. If it's not on the shelf but shows as in stock, they are usually more likely to go grab one for you. It works for me most of the time😄
@@Jess4mab that’s exactly what I did I made sure it said it was there, I even told the girl that and she said there was none in the bag. 🤷🏼♀️ But it’s all good because I found it at another store yesterday and I plan on wearing it today I can’t wait!
330 is my favorite shade on u I think it's perfect and the other one looks a tad light. I just saw ur message when I told u that the new concealer from this line in 305 was perfect for u. Did they reformulate this , I could have sworn I heard they did that in Aug but I could be wrong. I haven't tried this yet. I use to love the Givenachy skincare and glow but I swear it got more perfumie this year and I hate the smell it lingers ..lol and it use to be my favorite when it came out and the perfume didn't last and wasn't as strong. Girl I am sensitive to scent ..lol if they are gonna put a smell in a foundation atleast make it smell like cake ..lol
Definitely the 310! It looks more seamless with your neck. I always found with the Teint Idole Matte foundation that it dried a totally different colour and a lot of the shades dried very pink or orange. I really didn’t like it at all! But I think you have a few more shades in the US than we have in the UK. Have you noticed a big change in colour when this one dries down please?
Great question, Emma. I think the original version, being matte, ends up having a little bit of a dry down shade change. With a bit of glow in this one, I did not notice any change in the shade, thankfully.

Now I know what color to try first with the Lancôme :) Yes, I’m one of your 24 hour work schedule viewers. I recently just went back to my Guerlain L’Essentiel 16 hr wear. I had forgotten about it but now I’m a fan again. I tried the Make Up Forever 24hr foundation twice. Only 2 times because it was irritating my shin. It also had way too much coverage for me. I can’t wait to try this new foundation. Thanks for another great video !

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Ok. I’m working today so I’m trying it out. I ended up using 305. It’s darker than 310 but lighter than the 330. It seems to be a good color match. I’m loving it so far. I’m not having a lot of transfer onto my mask. I probably only wear my mask for 8 of the 24 hrs. Sometimes it’s more and sometimes it’s less. It’s usually 15 minutes at a time with a patient. Some cases are very involved and I may have it on for an hour. It’s all depends. Thanks for your review :)
Initially, I backed off the bronzer just to show the foundation but I actually kind of like the look. Too much bronzer and too much highlighter just gets too full of a face.
Both shades, to me, look fantastic on you. Assuming shade 310N and 330N have the exact same amount of pigmentation, the fact that I can see more of your skin underneath on the 310 side and it looks like you've gotten more coverage on your 330 side could either be an indication that one is lighter than your skintone or the other is darker than your skintone. It's the way that with paint, a dark color can easily cover up a lighter color underneath it but a light color doesn't cover as well if applied on top of a darker shade unless it's a very opaque bit of paint. Since it's supposed to be a medium coverage foundation, 310 is probably technically the right shade match. But they both look great on you and if Lancome made a 320 N shade, that would possibly be the "perfect" one. I hope I explained that well enough what I'm trying to say. Sometimes what makes sense in my head doesn't translate to written or spoken word as well. lol.
This makes perfect sense. I love your explanation. I think the best way to go about it is a painterly sense. And maybe I ought to just mix them. Because, as you note, one is a slight bit too late and one is a slight bit too dark. You are absolutely correct.

I think the 310 is a tiny bit too light and the 330 is a drop too dark. Both sides still look great. The new Hourglass foundation comes out today. Will you be reviewing it?

Camille! Isn’t that funny? I am so happy that you found my review. I don’t see the glow. I really don’t. It has a bit of a lit from within and it is not flat like their matte foundation is but is this a glowing foundation? On me, no. Maybe with a glowy primer? But no it’s definitely a natural finish with a little bit of luminosity. No dewiness.
I’m guessing this performs kinda like the Armani Luminous Silk foundation which is also natural/glow and medium coverage? If it’s super similar then I’ll stick to my Armani. :)
I was just looking at this yesterday! Online. I’ve always liked most Lancôme products. And I always like a glow. I really like their powder foundation over my sunscreen. 310 is good. But is this new one similar to Nars light reflecting?
Hello Trish. Yes, VERY similar to Nars light reflecting. ONLY difference is that the Nars builds more and can go super light to full. This one is like medium out the door and always. So the buildability is different.

Hi Rebecca. Yay the confetti 🎉 is back!! I prefer the light shade on you. However the difference isn’t huge so you can get away with both. If you didn’t mention you were wearing 2 different shades I really wouldn’t have known. Mixing both won’t make a difference.
I think I like the 310 better since it looks a little brighter compared to the 330. I feel Sephora doesn’t pick my correct shades. I never go based off on that. I need to look up swatches as the pics don’t really do justice. And I can’t go based off on different color faces, that’s a bit tricky for me.
Oh that's such a difficult question you pose Rebecca (the Purist!) Ha ha. But honestly? They both suit you; and I would say the 310N is a dead match, and the 330N makes you look really healthy - so 330 has a little more colour and it really suits you, but I say, either will work for you. I did the Lancome online 360 degree photo upload thingy and they gave me a dead match shade, and one shade either side, and said all 3 would work for me and I actually already had the lighter shade, and next I bought the darkest of the 3, and I'm really liking it much better! I have yet to buy the 'exact match' shade - why? Because I forgot its number when I was in the shop! What am I like Rebecca?? 🙄So funny :) I think when there are SO many shades of a product, we can adapt a handful of shades to our skin don't you? After all - if you pick an area of forehead, an area of chin, and an area of cheek and an area of neck, I bet all four areas differ in shade from each other slightly - so I believe it's less of a science and more of an art to even out our complexions. Anyway you look gorgeous in both but if I were to choose, I would go with the 330N for sure 👍 Excited to learn which Lancome mascara you like best... I have a definite favourite as it is simple and has an easy to apply straight brush in it! Also a powder foundation video? Oo! Can't wait for that one... Oh I must try this little 360° tool excellent I didn’t even realize it was out there. I think you are right, however, depending upon preference, we can go a little bit lighter or a little bit darker for some more color. And some people like to put the lighter shade on one part of the face and the darker shade on another part of the face. I do not possess that talent but for those who do ha ha. And you sound exactly like me. I would totally forget the shade number once I got to the store.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty the difference was minimal! You obviously can add more bronzer on the 310 side but the 330 looked like it can work more easily, with minimal effort! Plus the californian sun is going to be there for a while so the lighter shades can wait😂
Ok Rebecca so. I have never tried Lancome's foundation. Don't they have like 4 different "tint de idole glow" foundations? Or am I imagining that. If so, would love to know the difference. I'm still watching tho! Getting ready for work 😊
Hi Rebecca. Can I ask which shade you are in the regular Teint Idole ultra wear foundation? The 330N was also recommended for me and I usually wear the 160 Ivoire W/02 Lys Rose in the regular ultra wear.
260N in the original and they recommend, when I look now, 160W???? And I would have never listened to that recommendation! But it wasn't so wrong with the 330 on this one. How strange!
Hello Elizabeth. Great question. And actually, it does wear a bit longer than the Nars. It boasts 24 hours of coverage which Nars does not. And even if it doesn’t live up to that it will outlast Nars. But both beautiful foundations.

I think the 330 is a better match but you can make the 310 work for you if you want to keep it. It brightens your face a bit. You can use the 330 all over and the 310 around the eyes and the nose. If you can return them, then I would take the 310 back instead of trying to mess with it. I love Lancôme! I love their foundations, lipsticks, blushes and mascaras! They have some good skin care, as well. My only wish is they they would make fewer “glitter” eyeshadows and more matte shadows. They don’t even have a shimmer formula. It’s straight up chunky glitter which isn’t cute on anyone.
AGREED. Glitter is a no go. Totally agreed. As for using the lighter 310 under the eyes and the 330 on the rest of the face, why didn't I think of that?! Clearly you're a genius.

Hello Jessi! I don’t see the glow either but the new Charlotte Tilbury looks like an oil slick on some people and it barely looked glowy on me. So maybe my skin is just drinking foundation. But there was no glow. To me it’s just different than the flat matte look of the previous foundation and I feel like they were searching for a way to say that and came up with glow.
Definitely the 310. Also, I kind of like the bronzer free look. I’ve seen a couple of influencers go without and to me, it looks fresher and at times more in line with the body color.
Hello Helen! From now on I think I’m going to do a pre-bronzer look and then a bronzer look as I am hearing mixed feelings about it in comments. Some people want to see an entire look to decide and others, like you and me, feel it is fresher and more straightforward with no bronzer.
Hi Rebecca, more SPF in foundation 🤨 i do like the Lancome ultra wear and the SPF is low its only 15 so i can handle that, but i do like medium foundation aswell, Nars light reflecting foundation is my number 1 foundation i love it so if this didn't have SPF i would of tried it 😒

It’s not enough alcohol to smell it. You know how some Foundations, you get that scent of alcohol when you open the bottle? nothing like that here. But the fragrance is strong at first. I would say the fragrance dissipates within about two seconds, thankfully.
Hello Pamela! It’s definitely a splash of perfume. I am not going to lie. It dissipates within seconds, which is nice. But it is there when you first put it on. And I wanted to make sure migraine sufferers and such knew.
Hello Rabbi!! I am going to try the 310 around the high points of the face and the 330 on the rest rather than straight up mixing them. It is honestly a tossup and the comments are completely tied. And I always intend to return one and I rarely do.
I think the 330 gives you better coverage. These shades my word. They don’t look like those models AT all!!!!!!!! 330 model looks way darker than you. It’s been so hard to decide shade and now people are talking about the scent. I may just wait on the HG foundation. I wanted to get 1 while this points multiplier is still going.
So tricky, right? And, honestly, 310 would’ve been my choice and I would’ve been happy with it but now I’m comparing it to the 330 and now I’m thinking about mixing them which is honestly ridiculous because they’re too similar. It’s really going to be interesting and I’m already hearing people saying that the hourglass won’t be good but maybe that’s just because people are always gunning for that brand? I don’t know.

I never cease to be amazed by foundations that claim to contain skincare ingredients and be good for your skin and yet contain alcohol denat and fragrance. (The former high up in the inkey list.) Surely that's an oxymoron. I won't be trying out this foundation. Lancome can and should do better.
Alcohol isn’t actually bad for your skin, especially if the overall formula is hydrating. Alcohol is used to make products less greasy. In foundations they help them “self set” so that they don’t transfer and smear all over the place without powder
@@r.c.7779 There are many varieties of alcohol some good for the skin but alcohol denat isn't one of them as it dries it out and sadly does it no good. More so when it's a product that you will be using daily.
@@MariaDuarte-mt1ez if it’s a matte foundation, then I agree with you. But if it’s a hydrating foundation with plenty of hydrating Ingredients to make up for the denatured alcohol, then it won’t dry out your skin. I have greasy sunscreens that have denatured alcohol in it, and they feel overlyyyy Hydrating, not drying.
I want this foundation but im worried about the shade range. Its much less shade range then old idol foundation. And its so anoying that US market has diffrent names or numbers on the shades then here in Europe. A question is this good for tropical climate. I need one that works in humid and warm weather. 🤎💜💙💚💛🧡👌🏽👌🏽

Hi Rebecca, My name is Julie from England. I've used Lancome Teint idole ultra wear nude for quite a while but they have started discontinuing it. I was give 3 samples of the Glow and Care in different shades to try but so far I'm not a fan considering I've always used the Lancome foundations. After trying one of the samples a few hours later my face felt oily and also looked it and ended up washing it off after about 6 to 7 hours. I tried again with another sample the next day and by lunchtime it just didn't feel nice. After reading up on the foundation I found out it had 82% serum, Hyaluronic acid and another acid. My morning skincare routine is the Genifique serum, then the Hdrazen moisturiser with Hyaluronic acid and an eye cream. So because there is a serum plus Hyaluronic acid etc is this why my skin felt yuck to coin a phrase. Maybe I don't use anything after my morning wash and just use the foundation as it's got the skincare already built in. Does that seem reasonable. I would love to know your thoughts, kind regards Julie from England 🇬🇧
JULIE! You are facing an issue that has been on my mind a lot actually. I found this to be true with the new Jones Road WTFoundation if you saw that one. I did my normal skincare routine so applying that foundation afterwards made me break out and feel greasy. It's almost as if, with these skincare foundations, we have to literally ditch our usual, and fairly enjoyable honestly, morning skincare routines in order to use the foundation. And I don't like that. I'd say, honestly, keep the morning skincare routine as long as it works for ya and go with a slightly more matte foundation from either Hourglass or Armani, Chanel or Estee Lauder. Why disrupt everything just to make a foundation work, you know? I wouldn't say that but I see you say you have samples and I know you can't return in the UK. IF you did buy the foundation already, make sure you wait a good hour or so to apply after skincare....but who has that time???? You'd have to skip skincare on the days you use this and it still might slip and slide on ya.

I am 62 years of age and have fairly good skin I'm told and I didn't want to ditch my skincare regime. What's the point of buying Lancome skincare products if you've already got it in the foundation. All of the try ons have been filmed and I have everything together and ready to go. New releases have been putting that poor little video off to the side. But I’m actually really excited about it. I have so many of them in front of me. It’s a bit overwhelming. I never really realized how many versions of each mascara that Brand makes. It’s baffling.
I haven’t read any other comments, so this is my fresh opinion. I prefer the 310 side. The other one leans grey-ish. I have had foundations lean grey on me and I never wore them. They ended up decluttered. Nowadays, in order to prevent this, I no longer purchase grey-leaning foundations. I hope you know what I mean… it’s hard to explain, but “grey” is the best word I found so far!!! 💖

Skin twin, I was waiting for you to review this. Wow, the shades are so close, but I think I like the 330 better. When I was looking at this on the Sephora site I was choosing 310 for myself. Now I think I may have to go with 330. Thank you!
It’s so confusing, Emily. And you can see that they might even have matched me, say, in store, with something else! When you get 30 shades like this they are very subtle in difference. But I think the darker gives a little bit of a prettier look.

Funny, I picked out 310N and the shade finder IQ thing suggested something much darker. I find it skews dark at least for me.
I never trust those shade finders. I have no idea why it got in my head this time. But most people are preferring the 330 and I kind of prefer the 310 with a bronzer. Brightens the face.
On camera to me the 330 looks more neutral and the 310 is a little warmer. You can definitely wear either and its going to come down to personal preference. I'm leaning toward the 330 side and I like the paired back makeup. Thats defintely my go to regular look. A bit of coverage to even out the skin, a little blush and some colour on the lips. Perfect. I'm glad you're going to skip bronzer now for foundation reviews because it does change things.

I am really wanting to try this foundation. This past Friday I went to Sephora but they didn’t have it out yet and I asked the girl even if it was in the back lol she said no but I have to wonder if it was back there anyhow I’m patiently waiting for it to come to stores because I like to see the colors in person.
I so agree, Belinda! They often don't even know what's in the back, waiting. It's like, "Do you mind if I just go back and check? I won't disturb anything." hahaha. Seeing the colors in person really is the WAY TO GO!
I always look up the item and see if it says it's available for pick up in store. If it's not on the shelf but shows as in stock, they are usually more likely to go grab one for you. It works for me most of the time😄

330 is my favorite shade on u I think it's perfect and the other one looks a tad light. I just saw ur message when I told u that the new concealer from this line in 305 was perfect for u. Did they reformulate this , I could have sworn I heard they did that in Aug but I could be wrong. I haven't tried this yet. I use to love the Givenachy skincare and glow but I swear it got more perfumie this year and I hate the smell it lingers ..lol and it use to be my favorite when it came out and the perfume didn't last and wasn't as strong. Girl I am sensitive to scent ..lol if they are gonna put a smell in a foundation atleast make it smell like cake ..lol

Definitely the 310! It looks more seamless with your neck. I always found with the Teint Idole Matte foundation that it dried a totally different colour and a lot of the shades dried very pink or orange. I really didn’t like it at all! But I think you have a few more shades in the US than we have in the UK. Have you noticed a big change in colour when this one dries down please?
Great question, Emma. I think the original version, being matte, ends up having a little bit of a dry down shade change. With a bit of glow in this one, I did not notice any change in the shade, thankfully.

Now I know what color to try first with the Lancôme :) Yes, I’m one of your 24 hour work schedule viewers. I recently just went back to my Guerlain L’Essentiel 16 hr wear. I had forgotten about it but now I’m a fan again. I tried the Make Up Forever 24hr foundation twice. Only 2 times because it was irritating my shin. It also had way too much coverage for me. @@NotFitforPrintBeauty Ok. I’m working today so I’m trying it out. I ended up using 305. It’s darker than 310 but lighter than the 330. It seems to be a good color match. I’m loving it so far. I’m not having a lot of transfer onto my mask. I probably only wear my mask for 8 of the 24 hrs. Sometimes it’s more and sometimes it’s less. It’s usually 15 minutes at a time with a patient. Some cases are very involved and I may have it on for an hour. It’s all depends. Thanks for your review :)

310 looks more natural and brightens up your complexion! I've been backing off bronzer as well.
Initially, I backed off the bronzer just to show the foundation but I actually kind of like the look. Too much bronzer and too much highlighter just gets too full of a face.
Both shades, to me, look fantastic on you. Assuming shade 310N and 330N have the exact same amount of pigmentation, the fact that I can see more of your skin underneath on the 310 side and it looks like you've gotten more coverage on your 330 side could either be an indication that one is lighter than your skintone or the other is darker than your skintone. It's the way that with paint, a dark color can easily cover up a lighter color underneath it but a light color doesn't cover as well if applied on top of a darker shade unless it's a very opaque bit of paint. Since it's supposed to be a medium coverage foundation, 310 is probably technically the right shade match. But they both look great on you and if Lancome made a 320 N shade, that would possibly be the "perfect" one. I hope I explained that well enough what I'm trying to say. Sometimes what makes sense in my head doesn't translate to written or spoken word as well. lol.
This makes perfect sense. I love your explanation. I think the best way to go about it is a painterly sense. And maybe I ought to just mix them. Because, as you note, one is a slight bit too late and one is a slight bit too dark. You are absolutely correct.

I think the 310 is a tiny bit too light and the 330 is a drop too dark. Both sides still look great. The new Hourglass foundation comes out today. Will you be reviewing it?

Camille! Isn’t that funny? I am so happy that you found my review. I don’t see the glow. I really don’t. It has a bit of a lit from within and it is not flat like their matte foundation is but is this a glowing foundation? On me, no. Maybe with a glowy primer? But no it’s definitely a natural finish with a little bit of luminosity. No dewiness.
I’m guessing this performs kinda like the Armani Luminous Silk foundation which is also natural/glow and medium coverage? If it’s super similar then I’ll stick to my Armani. :)

I was just looking at this yesterday! Online. I’ve always liked most Lancôme products. And I always like a glow. I really like their powder foundation over my sunscreen. 310 is good. But is this new one similar to Nars light reflecting?
Hello Trish. Yes, VERY similar to Nars light reflecting. ONLY difference is that the Nars builds more and can go super light to full. This one is like medium out the door and always. So the buildability is different.

Totally, Julie, mixing both will just be more of the same. Usually I'd mix them on my forehead. No point. Too similar.
I think I like the 310 better since it looks a little brighter compared to the 330.
I feel Sephora doesn’t pick my correct shades. I never go based off on that. I need to look up swatches as the pics don’t really do justice. And I can’t go based off on different color faces, that’s a bit tricky for me.

Oh that's such a difficult question you pose Rebecca (the Purist!) Ha ha. But honestly? They both suit you; and I would say the 310N is a dead match, and the 330N makes you look really healthy - so 330 has a little more colour and it really suits you, but I say, either will work for you.
I did the Lancome online 360 degree photo upload thingy and they gave me a dead match shade, and one shade either side, and said all 3 would work for me and I actually already had the lighter shade, and next I bought the darkest of the 3, and I'm really liking it much better! I have yet to buy the 'exact match' shade - why? Because I forgot its number when I was in the shop! What am I like Rebecca?? 🙄So funny :)
I think when there are SO many shades of a product, we can adapt a handful of shades to our skin don't you? After all - if you pick an area of forehead, an area of chin, and an area of cheek and an area of neck, I bet all four areas differ in shade from each other slightly - so I believe it's less of a science and more of an art to even out our complexions.
Anyway you look gorgeous in both but if I were to choose, I would go with the 330N for sure 👍

Oh I must try this little 360° tool excellent I didn’t even realize it was out there. I think you are right, however, depending upon preference, we can go a little bit lighter or a little bit darker for some more color. And some people like to put the lighter shade on one part of the face and the darker shade on another part of the face. I do not possess that talent but for those who do ha ha. And you sound exactly like me. I would totally forget the shade number once I got to the store.

Hi Rebecca. Can I ask which shade you are in the regular Teint Idole ultra wear foundation? The 330N was also recommended for me and I usually wear the 160 Ivoire W/02 Lys Rose in the regular ultra wear.
260N in the original and they recommend, when I look now, 160W???? And I would have never listened to that recommendation! But it wasn't so wrong with the 330 on this one. How strange!

Hello Elizabeth. Great question. And actually, it does wear a bit longer than the Nars. It boasts 24 hours of coverage which Nars does not. And even if it doesn’t live up to that it will outlast Nars. But both beautiful foundations.

I think the 330 is a better match but you can make the 310 work for you if you want to keep it. It brightens your face a bit. You can use the 330 all over and the 310 around the eyes and the nose.
If you can return them, then I would take the 310 back instead of trying to mess with it.
I love Lancôme! I love their foundations, lipsticks, blushes and mascaras! They have some good skin care, as well. My only wish is they they would make fewer “glitter” eyeshadows and more matte shadows. They don’t even have a shimmer formula. It’s straight up chunky glitter which isn’t cute on anyone.

Hello Jessi! I don’t see the glow either but the new Charlotte Tilbury looks like an oil slick on some people and it barely looked glowy on me. So maybe my skin is just drinking foundation. But there was no glow. To me it’s just different than the flat matte look of the previous foundation and I feel like they were searching for a way to say that and came up with glow.

Definitely the 310. Also, I kind of like the bronzer free look. I’ve seen a couple of influencers go without and to me, it looks fresher and at times more in line with the body color.
Hello Helen! From now on I think I’m going to do a pre-bronzer look and then a bronzer look as I am hearing mixed feelings about it in comments. Some people want to see an entire look to decide and others, like you and me, feel it is fresher and more straightforward with no bronzer.
Hi Rebecca, more SPF in foundation 🤨 i do like the Lancome ultra wear and the SPF is low its only 15 so i can handle that, but i do like medium foundation aswell, Nars light reflecting foundation is my number 1 foundation i love it so if this didn't have SPF i would of tried it 😒

It’s not enough alcohol to smell it. You know how some Foundations, you get that scent of alcohol when you open the bottle? nothing like that here. But the fragrance is strong at first. I would say the fragrance dissipates within about two seconds, thankfully.

And, honestly, 310 would’ve been my choice and I would’ve been happy with it but now I’m comparing it to the 330 and now I’m thinking about mixing them which is honestly ridiculous because they’re too similar. I never cease to be amazed by foundations that claim to contain skincare ingredients and be good for your skin and yet contain alcohol denat and fragrance. (The former high up in the inkey list.) Surely that's an oxymoron. I won't be trying out this foundation. Lancome can and should do better.

Alcohol isn’t actually bad for your skin, especially if the overall formula is hydrating. Alcohol is used to make products less greasy. In foundations they help them “self set” so that they don’t transfer and smear all over the place without powder
@@r.c.7779 There are many varieties of alcohol some good for the skin but alcohol denat isn't one of them as it dries it out and sadly does it no good. More so when it's a product that you will be using daily.

But if it’s a hydrating foundation with plenty of hydrating Ingredients to make up for the denatured alcohol, then it won’t dry out your skin. I have greasy sunscreens that have denatured alcohol in it, and they feel overlyyyy Hydrating, not drying.

I want this foundation but im worried about the shade range. Its much less shade range then old idol foundation. And its so anoying that US market has diffrent names or numbers on the shades then here in Europe. A question is this good for tropical climate. I need one that works in humid and warm weather. 🤎💜💙💚💛🧡👌🏽👌🏽
Hello Persia!!!! I actually do think that this would be good for a humid climate but I think the original natural matte version might actually be better for a warm climate. Have you tried that one?
Hi Rebecca, My name is Julie from England. I've used Lancome Teint idole ultra wear nude for quite a while but they have started discontinuing it. I was give 3 samples of the Glow and Care in different shades to try but so far I'm not a fan considering I've always used the Lancome foundations. After trying one of the samples a few hours later my face felt oily and also looked it and ended up washing it off after about 6 to 7 hours. I tried again with another sample the next day and by lunchtime it just didn't feel nice. After reading up on the foundation I found out it had 82% serum, Hyaluronic acid and another acid. My morning skincare routine is the Genifique serum, then the Hdrazen moisturiser with Hyaluronic acid and an eye cream. So because there is a serum plus Hyaluronic acid etc is this why my skin felt yuck to coin a phrase. Maybe I don't use anything after my morning wash and just use the foundation as it's got the skincare already built in. Does that seem reasonable. JULIE! You are facing an issue that has been on my mind a lot actually. I found this to be true with the new Jones Road WTFoundation if you saw that one. I did my normal skincare routine so applying that foundation afterwards made me break out and feel greasy. It's almost as if, with these skincare foundations, we have to literally ditch our usual, and fairly enjoyable honestly, morning skincare routines in order to use the foundation. And I don't like that. I'd say, honestly, keep the morning skincare routine as long as it works for ya and go with a slightly more matte foundation from either Hourglass or Armani, Chanel or Estee Lauder. Why disrupt everything just to make a foundation work, you know? I wouldn't say that but I see you say you have samples and I know you can't return in the UK. IF you did buy the foundation already, make sure you wait a good hour or so to apply after skincare....but who has that time???? You'd have to skip skincare on the days you use this and it still might slip and slide on ya.
Hi Rebecca, thank you so much for your reply it is much appreciated. I was given three 15ml samples so I didn't purchase the Glow and Care product fortunately. I am 62 years of age and have fairly good skin I'm told and I didn't want to ditch my skincare regime. What's the point of buying Lancome skincare products if you've already got it in the foundation.
