Just found you....love the colors, which purple looked good on me bc I would wear this for sure! Thanks for explanation! Looking forward to more vids!!
You're welcome, I should be at the point where I close the armholes off in a day or two and will show exactly how that's done. It's really neat how it just turns into a garment from a hexagon with a hole in the middle.
The yarn is gorgeous! I have to try it!! I have tried the top down sweaters following tutorials, and I just can’t get the gist of it. Something always goes wrong in my stitch counts and/or increases, but I am determined!! It’s like you’re crocheting around the positive space of a hexagon (I think I said that right)! I might be able to do this because you said where the increases are instead of them popping up as we go along.
I absolutely Love Love Love This. I've been looking for a pattern/tutorial to make my first adult sized sweater. This is the one. Thank You so much. I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out. :)
Now that the holidays are over, I will start working on old projects again. I also started a new medication that really knocked me on my butt for a while too, so I haven't been very productive lately.
I actually made this sweater and I love it. It's not perfect, but for my first adult sweater it's not bad. I had to do a little calculation as I used a bulky 5. But it worked up well(and quick). I've had 2 requests today to make this for others. 🥰 Thank you.
You size it to fit your body as you go, like a raglan sweater. It's a type of raglan sweater. You work rounds until you can comfortably connect the side points to make sleeve openings.
It would probably be equal to a 7/8X, it's very large. I wear a 4X but wanted this to be very loose and oversized. Basically a big blanket with sleeves I could wear as a "real" piece of clothing. Those giant fleece blanket sweaters that were popular this year? That was my inspiration. Something that big and oversized, but not just a snuggle or "slanket". The yarn is Red Heart Roll With It Melange, a light 4 weight, I'm using a 5mm hook
Thank you. Detours and frogging expert, that's me.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you sharing. I've already made one sweater using your videos as a jumping off point. I'm about to start my second!

Did you finish this? I'd love to see how the 5 points look!!
This is brilliant !!
I'm a first-time viewer of your Channel. I would like to know the category weight of the yarn that you are using in this pattern
It's a 4 weight or worsted
Could you make a sweater with this formula but doing this in the round and not flipping? And could you do a 4 point pattern?
can this be a cape ?
It could absolutely be a cape, just don't make armholes.
This is brilliant, but Hiw can I make a smaller size XL?

What did you do?
what is the size that you are making 2X and what is weight of the yarn
