It wasn’t just fashion that influenced these shoes back in the day, it was also a massive symbol of class. People would fuck up their feet with narrow shoes on purpose just to prove that they were wealthy enough to not have to do any labour in the fields.

I ended up replacing all of my wingtips and cap toe shoes with Vivobarefoot Ra II for work and I generally lounge in five fingers.

I've been wearing toe spacers 3 months now along with Minimalist Shoes. Doing exercises for collapsed arches I found on gorilla zen Fitness. Tremendous difference in punching Power, Balance and toe dexterity. I recommend riding a bicycle with Minimalist Shoes even a beach cruiser it's going to strengthen your feet big-time. remember riding a bike Barefoot or in sandals when you were a kid? It's so much more difficult

This is funny timing. My feet are absolutely WRECKED. I jacked up my big toes playing hs football and then all through college I could hardly do lunges because my toes were so bad. Just today I called my dr and got an appt because they hurt more now than they have in the last 15 years.
I had a job where I was walking 15k steps a day and my feet would feel terrible at the end of the day. I looked into barefoot shoes and the difference is night and day. I found some affordable, nicer looking ones (look similar to vans but wider toe box) on Amazon and they have turned into my daily’s. I also wear them on leg days and they feel amazing in regards to stability and transfer of force from ground contact. Def recomend 🤙🏼 just don’t wear them on a date 😄

I’m currently transitioning to barefoot shoes and so far am loving them. It’s painful now to put on some of my old style shoes. Problem is, I need steel toe shoes for my job. I can’t find barefoot style shoes with safety toes.
USE A masseuse ball, racket ball or even a golf ball. Roll your foot out on the weekly. Let it hit all crevices in your feet, that will help break up myofascia and alleviate foot pain. Barefoot is something we r meant to do as humans, do so as much as possible! Inside and outside it needs to be done

First of all, I've had enough with plastic socks, come on most clothing today is plastic and I don't want that. Socks and underwear have been the most hard items to find without plastic. I found some cotton underwear without plastic, works but not the best but I'm grateful for it. I also found some cotton socks but they are way too short, I mean they are too short from toe to heel, so I still wish to find some good cotton socks... I'm a descendant of Yemen Jews, I wasn't taught any heritage but I think in Yemen people used to walk barefoot. I also would like to walk barefoot sometimes. But these days it's not a comfortable idea especially living in a city since there's so much trash like pieces of metal and stuff that can seriously hurt your feet. @@Zam432F if you were to take the insoles out and overlay them you'd see how they're shaped differently. Vivos give me enough space for my big toe but cramp up my little toes so I'm now wearing the Xero Prios in the gym. Even though Xeros give me slightly less space for the big toe the upper material allows it to move laterally with comfort and I have room for my other toes. The upper matters too because some will flex more then others. Also each brand has different thicknesses for the outsole which makes a big difference for ground feel. Best thing to do is order several different brands, models, and sizes and try them on. Some brands will have print outs you can make to place your foot on to see if it fits before buying. Think about it, everyone's feet shape are so unique it's impossible for companies to make a shoe that will fit everyone. I would also recommend trying them on and only wearing with toe socks because regular socks can pull your toes together just like shoes. Good luck

I don't think everything in the series is true. But in my opinion that series is one of the best I have seen to serve as an introduction to the globe versus flat topic so that's why I share it. Is xero or vivo better? Also, any1 know of any American made cotton or wool toe socks?
They’re each shaped differently so it depends on what model fits your foot. Injinji is a good toe sock brand but don’t know if they’re American made.
