we loved it! I would recommend checking out Huashan 1914, Songshan Cultural & Creative Park, and Taipei 101-the beef noodle soup at Lao Shandong in Ximen is amazing too!

in general, they’re not required! there is some pollution so sometimes it’s nice to have a mask
