Tajweed color information: 🔵 Blue - Ikhfaa If any of the 15 letters of Ikhfa (ت ث ج د ذ زس ش ص ض ط ظ ف ق ك) come after a Noon Saakin (نْ) or Tanween ( ٌ ٍ ً ), the word must be read with a light nasal sound in the nose. 🟤 Brown - Ikhfa Shafawi (Meem Saakin) When the letter Ba (ب) appears after a Meem Saakin (مْ) there will be Ikhfa Shafawi. It will be pronounced with a light nasal sound in the nose. 🔴 Red - Qalqalah When a letter of Qalqala (ق ط ب ج د) has a sukoon on it, it will be read with an echoing or jerking sound. When reciting, care should be taken not to jerk the letter to the extent where it will sound as if the letter has a Fathah on it. 🟠 Orange - Ghunnah When the letters ن and م have a shaddah ( ّ ) on it (نّ and مّ), it will be recited with Ghunnah.
