- Hi all
In this vlog we head up to Anstruther via Moffat, crossing over the Queensferry Crossing Bridge. We pitch up on the beautiful Silverdyke Caravan Park with amazing views across the sea, we were treated to watching a pod of dolphins from our pitch. I take you for a walk around Cellardyke and share the history of the harbour. Anstruther is a beautiful place full of tiny streets, quirky houses and steeped in history. Its also home to the famous and award winning Anstruther Fish Bar, I can highly recommend it and is worth the trip alone just to sample the fish n chips, don't forget to order the homemade tartare sauce too. I will drop a link below.

Ah, Anstruther, in the Kingdom of Fife, where all the good things come from.. ha ha.. yes I was born in Fife... lol.. lovely video Em, glad you saw the Dolphins, they are amazing to watch, even now they still take my breath away. Hi Em. We’ve not been to Moffat. But it does look lovely. Well done on the healthy breakfast. Dogs eh? You’ve got to love them 🤣 I walked across Queensferry bridge many years ago. You had glorious weather. Awesome that you saw dolphins. Looked like a nice site. The sea walk looked lovely. Like you could go for miles. All those stone cottages! Think we’d like to go there. Hello Em. I cried the first time I ever saw dolphins, and the very first time I saw a starling murmuration top. The natural world is just amazing. Never been to Anstruther or Cellardyke but I really like those narrow roads with old terraced cottages and always love little harbours. Interesting harbour history.

Haha I agree on the bacon David! Anstruther area is beautiful 😍 I’m so annoyed my batteries died! Didn’t even touch on the area, there’s so much to see & the history is brilliant! There’s a fishing museum too 😎 The fish n chips are a must! There is a car park down in Anstruther itself, but you’ll need to get there early in the summer! Should be ok in the winter, not sure if you can overnight there tbh as we stay usually on the forecourt we got the van from or on a site 😎! Yes I lose track of time easily 🤣 sorry it was so long🤭 Thanks for watching, Em💛

Hi Em, really enjoyed the video, Oh its amazing when you see dolphins isn't it. Beautiful scenery. I went on a boat trip a few years ago to the Isle of May to see the sea lions, it was too rough to get off the boat. never saw a seal then got back to the harbour and there they were. loved the stone cottages and cobbled streets x 😀🥰

Haha oh Suze, thank goodness it’s not just me! I get so irritated with it 🤣 Honestly I have no control of that thing, it’s got a mind of it’s own! and I can’t see the screen without swapping glasses 🤓😵💫

Oh nice, we never saw dolphins on our trips to Scotland. Possibly a whale, but we weren't quite sure 🤣Definitely saw an eagle though 😁
Aww what a shame, we used to live on Skye and never saw them either 🤭 It’s one ticked off the bucket list 😁 How cool seeing a whale!! Ahh eagles 🦅 are amazing aren’t they, had the pleasure of passing a sea eagle sat on the fence where we used to walk the dog on Skye, I thought it was a statue at first 🤪😂 Hope your both well, thanks for commenting, safe travels. @@vansforthememories it's gorgeous here. The weather is quite hot here. Cloudy a lot, as you can imagine 🤣 We've been traveling for 3 and a bit years. Was only meant to be a 12 month trip and then head back to Brum, but we just can't imagine going back to the UK.
We can't believe more UK van lifers don't travel over here instead of back home. Hardly seen any. Mainly, German, Swiss, French etc.
If you ever get chance, we'd love it if you could check out our little channel. We don't think many people back home know about our trip, so we get hardly any views from the UK 😞
Look forward to following your trips, its nice to see clips of back home on those days when we feel a bit homesick ❤️
