There's so many PnR actions it is basically impossible to have the same defender on some one all the time. Plus, what the above commenter said, the best offensive players guarding each other would tire them out. That''s why you need favorable match ups on offence and defence.

You do realise that this is a competition and the whole point is obviously to gain as much of an edge over their opponents as necessary.
