'BROOKLYN ABSTRACTION: Four Artists, Four Walls' at Brooklyn Museum HIGHLIGHT

Hi Everyone,
The Brooklyn Museum is having a unique abstract art exhibition 'Brooklyn Abstraction: Four Artists, Four Walls'. This installation of works by Maya Maya Hayuk, José Parlá, Kennedy Yanko, and the late Leon Polk Smith--four artists with strong connections to Brooklyn-creates a dynamic environment through four distinct, visually immersive experiences.
Three of the participating artists, all of whom work in Brooklyn today, are alive. And, they engage with space in innovative ways: Maya Hayuk with her tactile, abstract modular works; José Parlá with his large environmental paintings; and Kennedy Yanko with her metal and painted sculptures.
