This is my all time series! My license plate even says "ATTOLIA". I first read The Thief shortly after it was published, when I was in middle school. 20+ years later, I'm now a full grown adult still obsessed with these books.
My two sisters and I have wildly different tastes in books, but we all love this series. The Thief was a random find for me in a Goodwill, and since then I've probably bought six or so copies because I keep lending them out to people to read. It's a great series and deserves more attention.
I read the first one wayyy back in the day, before there was any indication of a series or even a sequel, but it left such an impression on me that I still have it to this day. Imagine my delight when I found out the sixth book was coming out and that I had an entire series to binge! MWT has the most rewarding payoffs for her setups I’ve ever read-even if I guess the twist, there’s enough doubt in my mind that I’m still on the edge of my seat to see if I’m right.
Great question! If the entire series is published, I'll read the whole thing back to back. There is just too much going on in a great series to not! But its also the reason I haven't read some great series...wheel of time for example. I haven't read it because it's so long and I don't want to be be that committed for so long!
