Now since march many hotels and travel agents haven't earned a single rupee & probably won't recover till winter of 2021. Millions in hotel industry have lost their jobs including me. One of my colleague even committed suicide.
All depend on 3 sectors now to decide whether we will have U shaped recovery or K shaped (I doubt V shaped as it will take atleast 1-1.5 years to get back on track, probably till around 2nd quarter of 2021-22). These 3 Sectors are:- 1. Manufacturing Industry 2. Real Estate 3. Financial Sector If these 3 can recover quickly and hold themselves, then we will see a good positive growth of around 7% because these 3 sectors generate the most amount of employment and the more you employ, the better your economy will run. So we can hope that Govt., apart from reforms can instill liquidity to get the economy going. Hospitality and Tourism with time will also start growing but for that people should have income which can only be generated due to employment which will only come if Industries and Real Estate get's going.
I felt this since from months. You are right. India also heading to K shape recovery☹ Indian Government needs more and more reforms to help the small scale business sector.

When you are in a crisis what you do is build infrastructure - John Maynard Keynes. Govt has precisely done this, built infrastructure during recession. The Govt has given for MGNREGA Rs 1,01,500 Crores + for migrant workers (PM Garib Kalyan Rozgar Yojana) 50,000 crores = 1,51,500 Crores for infrastructure & rural jobs. Free food for 800 million people for 8 months = 1,50, 000 Crores. This has double effect, the money given to farmers to purchase their grain adds to their income & free grain given to people saves their expenditure on food there by effectively putting Rs.3,00,000 Crores into economy. Most of India's migrant workers come to cities during non-sowing season to earn extra income & go back during sowing season.This has resulted on 44% higher cultivation year-on-year, higher for all crops, but especially high in pulses, which is ~2.6 times more. Good performance of agriculture increases rural demand & additional support to the rural economy also comes via PM Kisan. It has been noted that upper-income people sply in cities save lot of money during pandemic due to reduced expenses on travel, eating out, entertainment, on fuel, clothing, tourism etc which they compensate by lavish spending on restoration of normalcy. India will have rapid V shaped recovery when people are vaccinated, as both rural & urban sector are well set to boost economy.

The issue we will face the upper part of K should come from India rather than American companies like zoom or Cisco .Otherwise we will only part of lower kart of K . Ending up in L shape.
I think Jio is doing good by acquiring small companies And the same line has been said by Raghuram Rajan that Big companies like Reliance, Tata should come forward and support effected businesses
