This game is CRIMINALLY underrated. The multiplayer was SO much fun. From blood money to hot pursuit, there really never was a dull moment in this game. The sniping on this game was FUN too. Even years later I would go back and just play tdm to kill time.
@@ARBCOOL07 I mean, he definitely could be. It just feels like it could be leading up to a BF related announcement or something. Might just be for fun though! Which is also very welcome.
it was such a mess at release. game was like pre alpha state... but after that gameplay got boring after a few hours. truly one of the worst game they ever done

I said this a hundered times before and I'll say it again... If BF Hardline hadn't gotten released under the burden of being the next Battlefield but rather as it's own thing it would have been received a whole lot better. Because it's truly a great game, it just had the wrong name.
facts same issue cod ghosts had and both games still have die hard haters who are wrong. anything after this felt like dogshit even bf1 with how cinematic it was. this was no bf4 but it def could have been received well as its own title
People slept on Hardline's multiplayer! I've been playing Battlefield since BF1942 and it is easily one of my favorite Battlefield games. Excellent mechanics which are unique to the game that we never saw in another franchise entry and some of the DLC maps were incredibly fun and beautiful. Such a great game if you love boots on the ground infantry combat!
Jack def knows the next game, he probably playtested it already. Remember when battlefield 1 was yet to be announced, levelcap, matimo and jackfrags made a video together discussing the next bf and they were acting like they didnt know, but then a few years later levelcap mentioned in a video about bf5 that they playtested bf1 before it was announced. These youtubers know something.
It's the same with 2042 I think, he made videos like replaying older BF titles then drop a vid right after the announcement trailer for 2042 where he said he playtested in a clode-best like 6 months back on content creators only build of the game. So no surprise if Jack suddenly drops a vid on new years about a the news of the next BF game.
Putting sabotage bombs on doors in multiplayer was so awesome. The different radio songs. Interrogation with tasers. Map changing levelution. Decent maps in the base game. The couch car. The rare reloads. The Dead Space Easter eggs. And MP worked right from launch. Great game
Honestly, a really underrated game. Dynamic player agency, a unique approach to solving problems and a killer Heist multiplayer mode. People sleep on Hardline way too much. I'd love to see Cops & Robbers return in a future BF installment
The multiplayer of Hardline was actually some of the most fun I've had in a BF game. I'm an old BF player that was actually in the Gamespot beta test for 1942 and I think that BF 2142 is the best BF game ever, but Hardline was legit great with amazing modes and well designed maps. It's a shame the setting turned off the community so much and the visuals at the time were not great turning off more people.
Is this a series he's doing of all BF campaigns? because I've been receiving notifications one after the other, guess I will rematch the campaign for nostalgia's sake.
I agree, I remember playing it at my older cousins house the weekend of it’s release, he had an Xbox One and at the time i had a 360, but I didn’t have the money to buy a new game, but I loved the older battlefields and played them all the time same with the call of duties, but I loved that this battlefield was different but still felt like battlefield with the outlandish cinematic action sequences, memorable characters that interacted like real people, the fact the Kai was voiced acted by the same girl of acted for Stacey on phineas and ferb same with Dawes being an actor in the movie outbreak with Dustin Hoffman, but I loved running around, being a cop and arrested the bad guys, or being a bank robber in the heist mode, I loved the storyline for hardline, it reminded me of 2 fast 2 furious which is my favorite FAF movie, it definitely got hated on for no reason just because It was different, same with cod ghosts its unjustly hated on for no reason all because it was overshadowed by GTAV release
Oh man. I played this game for 24 straight and streamed it as well. I was ranked number 1 in the world & was the first player to get over 1M dollars and Battlefield tweeted about it all.. All good times for me in this game. Wish it didn't die so fast after release
Funnily enough - I just started playing this at the start of the week for the first time - completed it two days ago! Just strange timing! Nice to see a video of yours again!
1:51:11 Yea he is a good actor. Fun Fact: His name is Adam J Harrington. He also played A Cop role in another video game made by Rockstar Games Called L.A Noire. His name in that game was Roy Earle. He is an amazing actor.
I actually liked the Hardline campaign it was fun. Also I booted up the old PS3 and played some Bad Company because of Jack lol it was still fun but definitely outdated on the old consoles. Brought back the nostalgia. I used the PS3 controller at first but then found out the PS5 controller worked on the PS3 it was better but you get no vibration or home menu button. Wish it got a PC version. At least we had BC2 on PC. The FOV on BC is way too zoomed in lol. And you can’t really change the controls. I’m a PS5 player but the older titles show their age on the older generation consoles they play so good still on PC and are still worth playing today. I’m really enjoying Jack showcasing all the older Battlefield campaigns. Thanks Jack. ❤️
i have a feeling jack knows precisely when the next battlefield game is going to be announced and he's releasing every bf campaing up till the day the first trailer comes out
I mean we are supposed to get more information about the next battlefield at the first quarter of 2025 and possible community testing. We are not talking about beta testing, more like pre-alpha testing. Could be something that can be compared to what the game was? Delta something.
HOT TAKE: Hardline was never as popular as it could be because it was under the battlefield franchise. I arguably had more fun in this game than any other bf but hardcore bf fans don't consider it a good bf because it's so different.
Hardline was the first BF games ive played! One of the rare games i grinded to get all the weapons and skins, and also the first video i watched from you (to get the Mammoth gun and syndicate gun). Honestly such a fun game and ever since Ive been a BF fan.
Love they give u the Beretta 92fs... Was one of my first guns, and still a favorite. Double, and single action, with safety decocker and good accuracy, and reliability. 10/10. RECOMMEND.
If he stopped at Hardline and skipped BF1 and BFV, it could mean he probably knows something about the next BF game. Since the devs mentioned before that the next BF game would go back to modern times like BF4's modern setting. And he started out with BC2. BC2 up to Hardline is like the line of BF games set in the modern-ish era. If he's just doing a homage playthrough of all BF game's ever released, he would've started with 1942, added in Vietnam, BF2, and BC1. And also 2142, if we're going in order of release date.
@@NecramoniumVideoI disagree, I felt like it absolutely played like a battlefield game, just less military stuff more criminal/police stuff, just because it’s a different genre doesn’t make it bad hell I didn’t like battlefield 1 but I’m not gonna say it was a bad game cause it wasn’t a lot of people liked it, I just didn’t like the ww1 setting cause ww1 is just a boring war kinda same with ww2 because the good guys lost that war
