The use of mundane items like thumbtacks and chalk for espionage signals is so fascinating. The simplicity of spycraft during the Cold War never ceases to amaze me.
This channel has the most epic segways to commercials...20 min of espionage story leading to "He had a traumatic relationship with his father...Maybe therapy could have helped...give our sponsor better help a try" 😂 Fascinating story!
You have done well crafted job, quite accurate and digging deep into cases of American doubles , recruited from GRU(Polyakov, Penkovsky, Popov), but mostly at KGB, of the various units of it. Especially in the so called “Spy decade” it were numerous of KGB spies working for CIA, American Embassy in Moscow. Martha Peterson, Cherry Libernate apprehended in Moscow. Philby and company, Hansen, Eimes, big Cuban network of American officials turned Cuban spies, George Blake and many other less known spyed for Soviets. And only Aimes, the greediest bastard of all serving right (now) justified execution of law. People, Soviet agents , many doubles, working successfully for years, and only (not cause of their sleep up or unprofessionalism, but) died because of that traitor.
You've gotta be kidding@@LeonardoPisano-sn2lp .... that jag brought over 4,000 frivolous lawsuits since 1973. His peers found him guilty, so sorry: no hoax on his crimes. He's guilty. Not my fault you don't "get it".
I found the movie: "Breach is the suspense thriller based on the true story of Robert Hanssen, an FBI agent convicted of spying". Darn, now I have to figure out how to watch it again 😉
When an FBI agent, who is tasked with protecting the nation, betrays and provides classified information to the enemy, it is not only a violation of the law but also a breach of trust in the entire system. This is a crime that cannot be justified, regardless of personal or financial reasons.
This is really disturbing, even though I have read on this before. What's just as disturbing is the potential risk our intelligence is facing in the near future. This is not a political issue, it's a possible life changing issue that threatens life, our military and America. Once credibility is destroyed you will rarely, if ever get it back. Just truly worrying. Thank you for this video.
Great video as always, thanks Cindy! Just a side note, audio seems out of sync when you talk directly to camera. I for one don’t care about it, the content is great, but I just wanted to let you know.
Cindy Pom. Since you asked. Can you explore physicist John Wheeler's geons and why we're not hearing about it in todays popular science? It's an incredible idea. Totally undiscussed, while things like multiverse get endless press (and speaking engagements).
@MhdRAZI-n7g Darn you! You made me go find it: "Breach is the suspense thriller based on the true story of Robert Hanssen, an FBI agent convicted of spying" It is very good.
Are you disappointed she isn't spending her old age in poverty? Why do men always need to see women suffer when they've done little wrong? Police who murder unarmed civilians in US get to keep theirs. That probably doesn't concern you.
Yo your voice is so monotone it’s hard to listen and is very boring. Facts and knowledge are great but I could care less due to presentation please work on that for next vid🙂

His only crime is not being from the Israeli Mossad.
Nice video, and interesting topics.
Really wish the videos were longer. Youre a great narrator. More depth and longer runtime would be awesome.
Thank you for your service.
Now do Trump!
His supporters are OK with the betrayal. Abandon, all hope.

We are so busy building this shiny world that we don't bother to fix the trauma that we hold inside ourselves

@MhdRAZI-n7g The story is so familiar right down to how he got caught.

FBI didn't suspected their agents were living beyond their means!
His lawyer adds by accident to the title 👍🏿
Bro got bullied by his own dad
Great ❤❤❤
so in the end his poor example of a father was right
Was he right or was it a self-fulfilling prophesy?
Not really, his father stuffed him up, the sins of the father shall be passed to the son
Or "The KGB agent who served Russia from America for 22 years"
Great
Makes one wonder how many moles are in various areas of our goverment.
