To insinuate the NFL is rigged for the chiefs is basically calling Andy a cheater and that pisses me off the most about the "noise". It's a total slight at his greatness and I don't tolerate or entertain it. Go chiefs
It also implies the other 31 owners are down with letting the Chiefs win everything. Yeah right, I'm sure Jerruh in Dallas is totally on board with the Chiefs surpassing many of the Cowboys accomplishments. He's probably more broken over KC than sad Aikman is. Lol.
The TRICK with Veech and the coaching staff in Kansas City is that they interview PERSONALITY and COACHABILITY instead of just talent. The locker room culture isn’t an accident. They TEST for attitude as well as aptitude. They need a combination of self confidence and humbleness. They look for players that WANT to be critiqued. Then, coach assigns mentors to work with the new players and be role models.nits WHY D.Hop walked into the lockerroom and immediately opened himself up and was accessible to the younger players. The veteran players know HOW to critique without judgement or heat, which the younger players are able to accept and FIX. Andy and Veech spend the time looking for the combination of aptitude and attitude that will provide a winning team. Even with the BEST coaching, if you have even one or two players who cannot focus on their own contribution and not blame anything else, if you don’t have players that build up one another when a mistake happened, the team is a looser, despite winning a game. The Chiefs are winners because the coaches find great players, the coaches constantly develop plays for those players, and ALL of the players are family and will support one another on and off the field, way beyond their time with the team, which also allows them to welcome new AND returning players with open arms and all the help and mentorship they deserve.
That’s what I’ve been trying to explain to people in my family (Eagles fans). The Chiefs have talent plus charm and character. Really good-natured, hard-working but humble, super talented players. What’s not to love? ❤️💛🏈
Matt, Matt, Matt.... Don't give away the game. You've given Fangio Spag's secret that he is going to blitz on a big play, especially in the 4th quarter 😂
I don’t think it’s that people are acting like they never hated the patriots and they’re glamorizing them, honestly it’s just a new generation that was still in high school when Brady was at the end of his patriots career so they don’t truly understand how hated the patriots were.
Chiefs and Bills both scored 4 touchdowns and 1 field goal. Chiefs outscored Buffalo 5-2 on extra points. It’s that attention to detail that sets KC apart. The margin for error is razor thin in NFL. You don’t panic and start chasing extra points in the first half and you NEVER take points off the board. Lights are just too bright for Bills, they’re pressing too hard.
And the fact that the Bills called a straight drop back on 4th and 5, didn't try to move the pocket or give Allen room to run with the ball, and put their best receiver in the backfield all on top of what Matt pointed out at 34:00
I’m a long suffering Chargers fan (since 78) and I’m baffled by the Chiefs hate. The Patriots were boring, unlikable, and has a slew of cheating scandals. Sure, I’m a Chargers fan first, but Mahomes and Reid are insanely likable and fun to watch.
Regarding the Patriots scandals, we ought not forget the Robert Kraft handy at the Florida massage parlor the morning of the AFC Championship vs the Chiefs. That whole thing conveniently was forgotten.
Your point being? The Patriots should have faced SAME DAY consequences because a widower millionare went to a "happy end" massage parlor and paid for it? That was treated as a non-story because it was a non-story.
37:26 not only were the bills surprised Romo said literally a second before the ball was snapped “He’s going to have time.” And then there were 3 free-rushers
I disagree with Matt about FAU. He didn't get to play as a rookie, but he has been a productive this year and is turning into a decent draft pick. He isn't a great one but I wouldn't call him a bust.
The main "problem" with FAU is not his fault, he simply was drafted as a non-blue chip talent in need of development (pretty par for the course as the 32nd pick) and went into an established DE room with Karlaftis, Danna and Omenihu, so he could never carve himself a place in the Dline rotation. Heck, Uche as a 4th year veteran widely recognized as a pretty good player came in and got basically zero play in those same conditions.
@@ХорхеГарсия-э5е He has played 9% of the Chiefs' defensive snaps in the two playoff games. FAU was a high ceiling project player. I don't think it was a bad pick to take a shot at him at the end of the first round. He hardly played as a rookie. This year he is a rotation player. He played in the rotation all year. I think it is too early to write him off. As you say, it is a very deep room at defensive end. I still think there is a chance he improves more next year and plays a larger role. If he does that, then he was a good pick. It is too early to call him a bust.
What I don’t get is people hating on The Chiefs cuz they’re not fans of The Chiefs. (i.e. “They hate us cuz they ain’t us”) Easy solution: If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. ChiefsKingdom is wide and welcoming to all. Personally I’m from Philly, but I joined ChiefsKingdom back when I discovered The Chiefs from my boyfriend back in 2017. And haven’t looked back since. There really is no law that you have to support a certain team just cuz you live in a certain area🤷🏼♀️
I'm a little worried about facing Fangio. He's very familiar facing Andy and Mahomes. While Patrick has never lost to him, Fangio has a way of always mucking it up. And making things REALLY hard. His two high safety scheme is what the entire league copied. When he was with Denver, the Chiefs would always beat them, but their offensive performances were always sluggish and the stats were ugly. Now in Philly, he's got good secondary players, good LBs, and Jalen Carter is an absolute MONSTER in the middle, that I'm utterly terrified of Mike caliendo getting dominated by and completely wrecking the game
Just go look at the 2018 AFC Championship highlight replay on youtube and look at the comments. Might be confused on what team they are talking about lol
So tired of the whiners..When opponents cant make a field goal or don't catch the ball they have to blame refs for their lack of capitalizing on opportunities.
Neutral observer, watch a ton of football and the chiefs do seem to always get calls in their favor at critical times. It seems like a conspiracy but it seems Vegas needs the chiefs to win. I don't think the chiefs are cheating, but the refs have a latent bias toward the chiefs. Is Mahomes better than Allen? The eye test has always favored Allen. Reid is the difference. Dude is clever.
With the referees helping them out. Of course they are difficult to beat. If you can’t see all the BAD calls that have helped the chiefs the mat 3 years? You are blinded by stupidity.
Good seeing Verderame back on. That man knows football, really informative

There is the “everyone hates the Chiefs” then, also, “the NFL is rigging for the Chiefs”. Choose a lane.

ty I was wondering why they somehow pick the best guys like Mahomes, Kelce, Mcduffie, Worthy, Rice, etc and clearly can't be luck
Amen!

All NFL fans wish they could be us Kansas City Chiefs fans😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂LOL😢

Verderame is the GOAT!

For the record, the Chiefs traded Smith for Kendall Fuller and the 3rd Round draft pick that turned into Derrick Nnandi.

Verderame your spot on!! 👌🏾
I hated the Patriots for the same reason I hated the Cowboys. They weren't the Chiefs.
You dam right
I disliked them before the Panthers Superbowl. Didn't know their reign was going to last a lot longer than that. But I'm sure happy about this one
Great point
Matt go ahead and bring out the music and lay buffalo down please
We are gathered here today.....
I disagree with Matt about FAU. He didn't get to play as a rookie, but he has been a productive this year and is turning into a decent draft pick. He isn't a great one but I wouldn't call him a bust.
He is getting better...FAU.
Yeah still really young, and got better in run D. Still working on pass rush and if that develops he can become a decent #2 or #3 type guy
I have hope for him. He’s still very young. Hometown kid, KState alum, would be a great story. I think he has a chance.
Very interesting experiment by the NFL back in 2022 changing out the field every time the teams switched possessions.
Remigio scares me how fast he runs into the first contact. Needs to take care of the ball at that point in the play

I've been at several Chiefs game she was at and I've never seen her.

Hilarious that you can reference sully and everyone knows exactly who that is
We’re still talking about the Bills. Got it
“Mahomes isn’t gonna have a abomination of a 1st drive” Mahomes had 2 straight 3 and outs to start the 2nd half…
Didn't care for the Cowboys when Aikman was QB. So overrated. Team was solid, though.

BREAKING NEWS. THE NFL JUST ANNOUNCED THAT TAYLOR SWIFT WILL BE PERFORMING IN THE 2026 SUPERBOWL HALFTIME SHOW WHILE THE CHIEFS GO FOR THE 4PEAT
The Bills don’t use a tush push
They do.
So tired of the whiners..When opponents cant make a field goal or don't catch the ball they have to blame refs for their lack of capitalizing on opportunities.
Go eagles and watch out for their refs. You are going to have a tough game against a team that has refs handing them their play off wins.

0 out of 10 episode, not enough dunking on teams besides the bills. Be better.

FTW!
