I’ve had this plate carrier for more than a year now and I love it. I agree that the little flap is a pain in the neck to tuck in especially if you have the play carrier fitted correctly for your body. But aside from that I love it. I take it out almost every time I go shooting and I’ve taken it to a few classes and it’s held up just fine. If you’re looking for a first time plate carrier I think this should be a o contender.
Great plate carrier and plates. I think flexible rifle armor is the next thing as it gives your torso a lot more coverage. Plates leave the lower abdomen and lower back wide open.
Great review. I am a little concerned about the placement of the shoulder strap. Hooking the stock into the carrier just doesn't seem comfortable, but I've never tried it
They look feature-rich, but I hope it's better built than their Atlas pants. Which, like this plate carrier, were feature-rich. They even fit great. But didn't even last six months of wear one day a week for light duty for my security uniform. I would be interested in seeing how long it lasts.
Is the AXL front plate adapter the one for $65 or is it the one for $29? I'm a bit confused about what I need to get that setup, but it looks really good--and the AXIS plate carriers are on sale for like $49 + 15% today.
@@ThinLineDefenseCo exactly! I'm glad you showed that adapter as I'm looking at getting the Haley Strategic Micro, so it's good to know I could use it with the Atlas...or I might just treat myself to the Spiritus LV-119.
Hey man, have you ever thought about doing a review on Angel Armors RTC? I just received mine, probably the most comfortable vest I've ever tried one, and not much heavier than my K19 even with the soft armor.
@@ThinLineDefenseCo so, I reached out via their site. Got the quote from a rep, and then their sales rep in my area came to my house and fitted me for my vest. I can probably get you a contact with a sales rep.
Could you review any of the listed HRT Tactical RAC or HRAC AR500 Armor Valkyrie or Veritas Crye Precision JPC Also review the accessories the individual companies put out for these. (Placards, Back Panels, etc.)
Working on the crye ..they're just slow. I'll try to get a HRT and AR500. I had a veritas before we started the channel and it was alright. And copy on the placards and rear Packs! I'll see what I can do
@@ThinLineDefenseCo after rewatching the video I now see that was a dumb question. I was cooking while watching so missed that part. But for a more legitimate question, could you change the cummerbund for a quick release one? If so which one would you recommend.

Always solid reviews and they got the level 4 plates back in stock. Good value!
1: It’s a laser cut Banshee
2: Does the cummerbund accept the 5.5x13 soft inserts like the banshee does?
Again, these reviews just work better than others.

Dang! Great video, i will be using your discount code to buy this! Thanks for the code and the video!

@Joe Flowers…..did you figure out which adapter from AXL? I just got my Atlas carrier & am wondering the same
Great review, if I didn't already have a plate carrier I'd definitely look into this one
Can you run a tape messure across the chest of the plate carrier and tell me how with it is please
measure across the chest and.... wait measure across the chest and .... how .... with? wide? width?
@@ThinLineDefenseCo width, sorry i misspelled with instead of wide
Just ordered this plate carrier! Just one question though, what was the mag pouch you used at 9:36?
That's just a regular 3 mag placard from Esstac. I think it's the talls. I recommend the mids.
Could you do the shell back tactical rampage 2.0
I'll add it to the list!
I have this carrier and that is my biggest issue with it - tucking that stupid front flap!
haha glad I'm not the only one.....Get it tight....well come on. Now it's too tight to attach the flap.
I seriously want to cut it off.

@@whiz57 how many sizes do they have that they have to fit me? Seems odd.
@@ThinLineDefenseCo oh no, it's sized specifically to you. And it is adjustable, weight loss/gain isn't a big deal.

The one I used is "AXL ADAPTIVE VEST PLACARD (AVP) FOR CRYE JPC™ & MOLLE CARRIERS" from Haley Strategic.
Hope that helps!

@@ThinLineDefenseCo Thanks, that does indeed help!
To any one watching this the atlas is 89.95 at lapg right now but I don't know how long it will be under 100. 11/11/21
