    What should be the final min and max value of C and Si for 10 to 15 mm wall thickness in s.g. Iron casting
    Please suggest

    More section thicknes ... So we need more cooling time sir ?

    • @SandeepKulkarniDFG
      @SandeepKulkarniDFG 2 года назад

      Yes it requires more time as section thickness increases. However it also depends on the Alloy addition , Hardness and properties required , Sand to metal ratio etc.

    Sand inclusion is seen after machining by 2 - 3mm,
    # why does the non core casting getting the sand inclusion after machining, what's the remedy?

    • @dynamicfoundrygroup
      @dynamicfoundrygroup  3 года назад

      It is due improper arrest of inclusions like sand and slag in gatting system. Use of filter , Proper overlapping or providing chock can help you in arresting such inclusion.

    How can find bath and final chemistry for other grade cast iron??

    • @dynamicfoundrygroup
      @dynamicfoundrygroup  4 года назад

      I already have made seperate videos on Peralite grades and Ferritic grades ductile iron where the bath and final chemistry are notified. I will share the links for both.

    Sir what is the full form of CRCA

    • @dynamicfoundrygroup
      @dynamicfoundrygroup  3 года назад

      CRCA means cold rolled close annealed, as said before that metal is rolled in temperature below recrystallization level, cold rolled are much harder and have smootherfinish than hot rolled metal.

    What should be maximum nodule count

    • @dynamicfoundrygroup
      @dynamicfoundrygroup  2 года назад +1

      There is no such specification but one can aim upto 400-500 max. Above that acheiving nodule count is very tough job

    • @sadanandkushwaha2261
      @sadanandkushwaha2261 2 года назад

      @@dynamicfoundrygroup sir what would be significant if nodule count is above 500

    • @dynamicfoundrygroup
      @dynamicfoundrygroup  2 года назад +1

      It may results in increase in shrinkage tendency.
