- This week we are at #NewEnglandDragway to film an episode of our new Discovery Channel TV show called #LocalsOnly while at #streetoutlaws #noprepkings
Team FNA takes a tour of the track and learns of a big money offer to buy the track. Why are all of these local, home town tracks being targeted in big money buyouts?!

Why do ya'll think all these tracks are getting bought out????!!!
It's absolutely ridiculous.
The Question is Who is buying them? CCP affiliates?
@@wsc448 We know Amazon has bought a few!
Greed! At the moment property values are outrageous! It's sad that so many tracks are getting bought up to just develop into like an Amazon warehouse or similar.... once there gone there gone.
Usually, all the terrain has been compacted and improved for drainage. They have access to major roads, and also include large areas of additional land, like the sand trap and dumping grounds at the end of the track. Case in point Green Valley Raceway, ruclips.net/video/tsH_Hdpiiiw/видео.html It's a subdivision of houses now.
The reason I Love these guys is because they are like regular people and see beauty in where others see trash. They don't judge on appearance.
Thanks for bringing up the issue of tracks getting bought out. They were built when land was cheap and plentiful. Now, with urban growth, they've become valuable acreage to developers. Hopefully they don't follow the path of drive-in theaters. The best way to fight is to go watch more races!
You guys are like kids in a candy shop at every track you go to. LIVIN THE DREAM 🤙🏽
Save the racetracks ❤️
FNA y'all rock! Love the channel and content! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace
It was a pleasure to meet you and Asian. My brother and I were just talking about this. I think they wanted to build houses. Big ass houses that the average person can't afford. #streetoutlaws
It was great to meet you guys at New England Dragway. It was a “wicked pissah” time getting to meet you both of you and your whole crew at your booth. Hot day sunday was, but awesome seeing you guys doing things like going out of your ways to be taking extra time out of your day to those who were disabled really means a lot and shows you are real humans and care about the fans and others. You guys rock, keep up the positivity, stay safe and stay healthy, Always Drive safe!!!!
Awesome video guys! To take the time to interview everyone working behind the scenes is great!
I'm seeing a lot more outlaw tracks popping up lately. We're gonna race.
Looks like it would be a great weekend, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Very cool of you all to highlight the track and ongoing legal crap, show case a car or two, talking to the participants like Dominator
It could make a person's day even better. 🤙🏻
The hostile buyout seems to be a technique commonly used now in business. It is sad. Tough to see Phoenix, Houston, and Palm Beach all closing.
I'm wondering if our sport is dying or if it is being exterminated. It will push racers to the street.
It's being exterminated buy big money Liberals that want to kill anything that has to do with fuel burning vehicles
Very thankful for the street outlaws shows. Without them bringing everyone back into drag racing the past 8 or 9 years more tracks would have already closed/sold. Drag racing was dead until the show renewed an brought new interest/people to it again! Great job guys. Make racing great again
As soon as the 55 came into the scene I said heck yeah! One of my favorites, watched it more times than I can count😀
My sister's father-in-law Richard Ruth built the 55 in 2 lane black top and also Harrison Ford's 55 in American Graffiti. Love you guys you make me laugh so hard it makes my day!!! Keep up the laughs and hard work.
Lou strong like bull!! And thanks for the motion sickness with the go pro on the tyre. 😂😂
🤣🤣 no worries! - Lou
Farmtruck you should build you a 55 Farmtruck style
You two guys were awesome I’m the guy that gave you the meter and tape to fix the bus. Hopefully we get to meet up again next year have fun the rest of the season
Hey Farm , the 55 is absolutely WICKED! Two lane Black top for ever!
TY for sharing! Alot of the newer generations fail to realize that our service members that was able to make it home are the ones that started alot of these tracks. It was a place to let off some steam and have fun!
As a fellow New Englandah;
This was pure gold..🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍
Salute, Gentlemen🍻🍻
A pretty cool view of a piece of racing history. So many of the tracks go away and all that’s left are memories.
These buyouts are prompted by the fact this type of sport will be outlawed in the very near future
More East Coast Videos, Love It! You guys should move here!
People and cars have changed. The 60s to early 70s was the haydays
Thank you guys for posting this episode. People should realise importance of those historical tracks and save them before its too late.
You guys should make " Save and Support Local Tracks " T-shirt !.
Yall up here in my neck of the woods and I didn't know it till I saw your video!!!! I have to upgrade my bike before they will let me run it there again, because it ran a sub 10 sec pass. Whoops. 🤣😂🤣 and yeah we got the coolest 1/4 mile track in the country up here!!
Things would help if more events made themselves available to the track. New England Dragway hosted the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion a couple of times and it was a great success. Unfortunately they haven't had it since and it would be nice if the Left Coast powers to be would step up. The fact that the track has survived this long compared to so many other tracks should be rewarded!
Those reunion shows were amazing.
Chuck said I been to prison..lmfao he went to county jail...lol huge difference FNA f.t.w
When the mundane is comfortable... Love You guys 👨🏻🌾🛻🍜
English town N.J r.i.p. the greatest raceway park in dragracing history is gone God bless new england raceway!
I had a blast at new England drag way meet all you guys it was awesome I didn't get to meet everyone unfortunately but hopefully you guys will come back next year
2 lane blacktop is still one of the worst movies ive ever watched.... im kind of on the fence but 200mph was a better movie
The land developers are the worst enemy of the automotive race tracks. After them are the people and buisnesses that move in around them.
The land the track is on wasn't flat. The hill where the RV's were parked was taken down and used as fill going towards the starting line to level the track.
If you watch old videos of New England Dragway. The transformation from when it opened, to today took decades. A little bit at a time. If you can find them, the "smoke" serious of DVD's are a good history lesson.
remember seeing 2 lane blacktop , mostly remember the ending , just fading to black halfway intoo a race
remember another movie with a yellow trifive called return to macon county with Nick Nolte, Don Johnson, Robin Mattson and Robert Viharo.
A bad wreck or something is a WICKED PISSA
Much love and God bless.
Myron Pickard is a true New England racing legend.
wicked is the new pissha i wanted to come hangout so bad but everyone is sucks lmao
The finger is still all jacked up😳
What did he to to the finger 🤔
By the way the name of his dragster was called the cape codder.
This is a REALLY Great to see you guys there , and be at the 1 and only race track I Grew up at, my first love and passion for drag racing ,And really was one of The bigger influences on how my life was for over 25 years now ...And Feels good to know they are fighting to keep this place for everyone to enjoy 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Thanks Guy's! JOE
Yes sir the 55 takes the show
Drag Strips are being shut down coast to coast. I've lost count of how many just in the last year.
Yep NHRA SAID THEY SOLD COMMERCE IN GEORGIA TO SPREAD MORE MONEY AROUND OTHER TRACKS!! I CALL BS SO THEY CAN BE GREEDY FOR UPFRONT MONEY!! THE TRACK WILL BE TURNED INTO SUBDIVISION AND STRIP MALL!! WHAT A WASTE FOR CORPORATE GREED!!!
I definitely saved that movie title and will try to find it later.
To run a business you have to stay on point. Get some sponsorship
Wasn’t this uploaded yesterday?
Glad they didnt sell, Keep all that history alive
Farmtruck vs OPALA
Koretsky ended up buying Maple Grove, hopefully more follow his footsteps.
That was a fern not poison Lord help u asian
love ya and the show great people thanks
Farmtruck needs to travel to all tracks, even by Zoom Meeting to see how many are getting offers for hostile buyouts to end up closing tracks around the country.
FARMTRUCK NEEDS TO FIND A GOOD NURSING HOME
You can find two lane black top on you tube
It's looks like the snow just melted.
I'm from Maine and using pissa in a sentence.. it's like referring to a unfortunate situation like... Car breaks down....that's a wicked pissa.
@near sighted time traveler that's badass thanks for sharing.
bouncing back and forth from Maine to Virginia. Winters in Maine summers in Virginia.
@near sighted time traveler first I have to say I'm not a big track guy only been a few times in my life.. and trust me I'm older than you think but I'm all Street.
And second 100 to 3000 that's pretty good odds if you all stand together.
Know you're rights and stand up to them. because they work for us..remember that.
Stinkin' dubbas!
It sucks. I watch a drag racing stream on Twitch Ticklefitz and he is out of Houston and Houston Raceway Park got bought out by the storage/shipping company next door for $65-67 million. They are gonna stay open for a few more years when they said it was closing down last NHRA race last month. So many drag strips are getting bought out and sold and a lot of NHRA tracks which is sad. Hell I found out that Alamo Drag Way sold out which Ticklefitz went to a few times cause not that far of a drive from Houston. No clue who bought them out or why yet Drag Strips are being bought out and sold way to damn fast. Might be expecting the new Brandon EPA BS rules on modifying a car. Yet that is up for debate.
Our little track isn't full of suites, or other nonsense like big tracks, like Charlotte or Vegas. Its an old-school drag strip. But it does pretty well. Granted the pit area could be bigger. Its nice to have original share holders that care. Plus a national voice, Brian Lohnes the lead NHRA broadcaster on Fox sports, who grew up there. And I didn't know FT lived in Dorchester for some time.
And a great circle track down the road
Cool show today guys, you still on Cape cod Massachusetts. My boss Teddy Parker use to run a d dragster. It had a 6 cylinder in it Chevrolet and his best time was 190 mi at 9.9 out of that 6 cylinder front engine dragster. Used to go there in the 70s every Sunday. Brings back old memories.
Nothing personal but I wouldn't feel obligated to Jack sh*t. My answer to "Can I drive it" would be a Flat A$$ No 🤷🏼♂️
The only thing that bothers me is how they acted about the No Prep they had there. KK being a Pro Stock racer for years, should know what's involved with " door car " racing. Hopefully fighting with Big and Little County it changed thier perspectives. I heard Kyle was talking mad trash..that right there bothers me. I had always been a fan of him before that.
Y'all were an HOUR Away from me AND I MISSED IT 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😟😲
Dang, $20 for a car? Man, Id have to sell everything in Canada to pay that price. That is like $500 Canadian pesos! Inflation has hit hard. I am not saying your products are worth less, you brought setup and hauled said products and that is not free.
Lebanon valley speedway!
It looks like poison sumac.
Very thankful for the street outlaws shows. Without them bringing everyone back into drag racing the past 8 or 9 years more tracks would have already closed/sold. Drag racing was dead until the show renewed an brought new interest/people to it again! Great job guys. Make racing great again
Oval track 45min north went the way of the dinosaurs. Bought by a Massachusetts developer to make warehouses. I’m sure that would be the result there in Epping if they would have sold it.
I'm not a huge drag racing fan I like formula One a better. However seeing an old track strip is something special. I work at the railroad and one of the yards was built on the old Lyons drag strip in Long Beach in 1983.
David Freiburger shows a lot of old former drag strips in his show too. It's sad to see these drag strips go and become another Warehouse or houses. We had drag strips all over Southern California at one time.
Attitude and vibes are usually amazing in New Hampshire I friggin love it wicked pissah place lol. When you live in the city Boston that's the place most go to getaway.
My only regret this year not calling out of work and getting to this event hopefully next year I’ll be there racing in it
Farmtruck and AZN, and your sponsors, are the greatest for helping out a couple of fellow gearheads like that. In a few months we will be relocating to OK, hope to meet you guys.
I'm from Mass. and enjoyed your shows and antics!! Please keep it up. And thanks for the tour of the entire the track. I went to several events in the early 70's and to see it now it's amazing how much it has grown and improved through the years. Again thanks for the tour!!
In the middle of some upgrades to the Dirty Bird Firebird for next year. Yall bring the farm bird!!!!!! Have a little fun... lol
Awesome vid guys!!
You two need to buy your own dragway. Everyone would go there. They could practice for the list. Hopefully. Give it some thought.
Nice people nice rides
They tried to buy the track last year. New England Dragways share holders are all racers. They said fuck you to Amazon. It will not sell.
if a man hands you his left hand to shake it.... use your left fuckin hand??? Farmtruck ain't the Queen of England for fucks sake!!! lol
Look it's punk chuck himself! Duesh bagg! But hey great too see f@a in da house always!!! 🏠
I ran here in 68 in A stock cameo. this was my tract to run or visit.
Met and talked to Don Garlis , crewed with early racers, best in my life to be at.
My son slept in the pits while fuelers ran. family times.
Holy fucking shit i found my two favorite brothers cant wait to der you on my big screen 😃😃😃🤝🏻👍🏻
I hope you guys don't take it wrong but I feel that kind of ironic that Asian was talking about in historical race track being turned into an Amazon warehouse he's doing everything he can to keep American racetrack history alive
I love that Bus !!!
My first drag race a streeker ran quarter no clothes. U S 30 dragway, always an airport. They stopped racing long time ago
tnx for the video
Some idiots built a subdivision next to our local track and went on a 20 year campaign to put it out of business sadly they finally succeeded now the government is pissed about street racing in remote areas and industrial parks
Wicked pissah
2 lane blacktop is a badass movie I watched it as a kid and it made me fall in love with the 55 chevy because I loved the 57 chevy but once I saw the movie with that 55 it's been my favorite and still is my favorite of the tri 5's
Love Your Videos, So Very American 🇺🇸
That 55 is bad a$$
Nice pit bikes
George Rays dragstrip paragould Arkansas. . Check it out!
Farmtruck: The broken finger point! Love you guys
Used to race that track back in the day. It’s clearly come a,long way. Wasn’t half as nice when I was racing there
American Graffiti bought the two lane blacktop car for their movie and modified it.
It sucks that there are big iconic tracks being bought up to be torn out so homes can be built there and then you get the people that go and buy a home right beside a track and then complain about the noise and traffic when the damn track was there long before you bought a home there but they do it just to put a target on places like that and that's what upset's me the most.
Awesome story about the track. We lost the Atlanta dragway a few years ago to " investors ".
Why u bleep out names as far as im concerned the who is a major part of the storys legitimacy.
