Hi , just bought same truck what size tires are those? I know it said 31” but do you know the two numbers? Thanks
Good looking truck, just picked up a 96 5.0 clubcab
165xxx runs pretty FKN good
Kinda jealous of the single cab, had a maroon single cab. The one I just picked up it white awhile! Love being one of the older trucks on the road!!
looks good is about to do the same to my truck thanks for the video
What size shocks? Thanks
Thanks for posting a video I just got the springs for my f150 can't wait to put them on
good stuff man. the springs still look amazing
13% tax!!! Good god man!!! Are the streets paved with gold in Canada or something?
We pay a shit load of tax to get our "free health care" lol
Are those Crager soft 8s.
What back spacing are you running.
did you use a spring compressor or just the axel hang?
i was gunna get a spring compressor but i couldn't find one in my area and i would of had to order it so instead i just jacked up the truck and got 2 of my buddies to step on the axel to drop it down a few inches and i slipped the spring in. a spring compressor would make it so much easier if you can find one.
my 94 f150 sags at about 32 inches as well.. ive been debating weather the 2 inch level would be enough to fix. after seeing this helps me come to my decision. definetly a big improvement on ur truck.
Serious question, what if you want to complete the leveling of the truck by lowering the rear? What are the options there?
change to different leaf springs
you put the springs in upside down..
Nathan Tubbs nope
Love your wheels, where or what are they?
Vision 85 soft 8 was the name sorry for the really late response
What is your tire set up
Did you have any issues with the spring “bowing” out any? I got some Moog CC824s for my truck and they bow out a little. Idk if it’s normal or okay...
I know your message is 3 years old but I just put the 824 on mine. I have positive camber. Did you have excessive tire wear?
@@rustybarrr Lol it’s okay. When I initially put them on and had it aligned I had positive camber on the drivers side only, but I also got the adjustable camber bushings. I think it has since settled and now I have negative camber on the passenger side lol. I need to get it aligned again.
@@redscortgt93 The 824 was not called out for my 94 2wd 5.0. But it was longer then the 820 and 822 so I went for it.
@@rustybarrr What do you mean called out? It’s been so long since I put mine on, but I just researched what others were doing. 2wd 4.9 here in my 96
@@redscortgt93 maybe that’s not the right terminology but I live in Pennsylvania Dutch area lol. What I mean is when you look it up online the 820 and 822 are listed for my truck. But I went with the 824 which lifted my front end level with the back.
Cool!!
an inch difference from side to side... so ya
it was a little more than a inch ton each side. they have settled in now and they are still close to 2 inches higher than the original
could u show how it looks now that its settled
I hear bad things about rough country
funny i have the same truck 94 white longbed with the 4.9
Do you have the stock 15s and 235/75R15s on your truck? I have the same exact truck but 96 with stock everything. I want to go a little bit bigger wheels and rubber with a leveling kit exact to yours. Thanks for sharing.
sorry for the late reply this is my other account. the tires were not stock size they were bf Goodrich AT KO2 30 inch by 9.5 wide tires on 15 x 8 rims. Fit perfectly with no rubbing even without the levelling kit.
Stock shocks ??
I remember that truck
Did it feel stiffer in the front?
Did it ride any different or still feel about the same? And how has it lasted the past few years assuming you still have the truck?
for those looking to buy leveling springs, buy plow springs for $60-80 with similar to the same results. just a cheaper alternative
my original springs were 22 years old so i felt it was better to just replace the whole spring and get some lift.
***** There are springs that you can buy to support a heavy plow on the truck which have more or less the same affect
Andrew Kiernan Where can you get those springs your referring to?
What did you do about the camber?
what width tire are you running?
