This song inspired me to live a better life when I was at my lowest. Deepest gratitude to Pip for being such a great artist! Love to you always! Your fans are so appreciative!
@@vahrzawofficialtracks The song is 4years old, she was a visionner bc later all the main popular artists went back to the '80s, she is a very smart and talented artist 😊
For some years now I have been following this great artist and have to say: I love her, I love her so much. There is a fire in my heartland. ;) this is so beautiful.
Such a great song, such a great album, Ladyhawke always releases just excellent quality melodic music! When I feel depressed that's only what makes me happy! Thank you
I can't believe this is her third album. When I checked out her channel four years ago, there were only two songs, so I thought she was a one hit wonder. Now coming back her channel is loaded up with stuff I never saw before, some of it dated 2008 and 2012. And now all this new album stuff. Now I need to buy three albums, since I only have her on a rock anthology and techno anthology disks. She definitely needs better marketing.
Huh! If only you were back IN the 80s. Kim Wilde and Kirsty MacColl, two of the best females out there, had the SHODDIEST marketing ever, which, predictably, the twatty US never bothered to get hold of, but then it's all about their own stuff, isn't it, and we have to put up with all their crap. Most of the 80s females Ladyhawke evokes had dreadful acts, but you have to remember, Ladyhawke, like them is a talent who cares about the music, not a multimedia slag like Diarhianna, Taleen Spliff, Lily Allen, Skanks Aloud, Shitney Spears, Pariah bitch Carey, Rita Ogre, Nicki cunt Minaz, Beponce Knowles, Ellie Goulding, Pxie Twott who emulate their mother Madonna Queen slag of no-talent and famous for fame-sake where attention-seeking, gold digging and prostituting in the name of music is these days happily regarded as the being one and the same. Pointless slags forever here's to you-and the end of the world!
I am an 80's guy being born way back in 1973. I always liked Kim Wilde back in the day. It's a pity she didn't go further. Divynals were pretty good too.
She went as far as she could go, but from the word go, everything was against her-the fact she was had famous parents (despite outselling them easily within the first 6 months), the fact women were not seen as leaders in the 80s, the fact critics never bothered to take hers seriously despite their grudging but superficial first welcome, the fact her labels did everything to ruin her run by barely releasing any singles from albums, never putting out double A-sides, not taking enough chances with releases, not supporting her for US release, never promoting her properly, and the stupid public for welcoming her like the critics and then ignoring her as soon as she turned even better. Unlike all the critically acclaimed males and females of the 80s-the vast majority of which do NOT deserve it-therefore proving landslide support ridiculous and illogical, she actually DID deserve all the plaudits, sales and acclaim, and was the best act with the best and most consistent quality in a decade of the best artists ever. Her closest rivals in the quality department were German singer Sandra (also chanting voice of the Enigma records as well as with her own stuff), Kirsty MacColl, Bangles, Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks, Shakespears Sister, Voice Of The Beehive, 'Til Tuesday, Belinda Carlisle, Roxette (certainly the largely female part of the group!), ABBA girls solo and ABBA themselves, Cathy Dennis, Claudia Brucken, Berlin and to a lesser extent Cyndi Lauper, Kate Bush, Toyah, Pretenders, Blondie/Debbie Harry and Wilson Phillips. But we can surely blame Madonna the vile and epitome of everything shallow, grasping and childish and impervious to art. The fact a nobody like this is (a) taken seriously (b) never shown up for the phony fake artist she is and (c) there completely to further her own agenda in direct spite of every other woman trying to eke out a career in the male-dominated, Europe-aversive and taking attention of all of them with the gullible easily-pleased wish-fulfilment dopes that made up the jounrnos/deejays/TV presenters and record buyers of the 80s! You can also blame the UK's ridiculous self-hate against their own artists and their desperation to take over every undeserving US male and female possible and give them stage, life and credibility, a move even more prevalent today, which despite its wretchedness, means little as no country really HAS any musical talent left-it's all been pretty much used up! But Kim Wilde, when she bothers (and she doesn't usually bother) will still make decent records, even though the only one of true note and originality was done way back in 2010 and not even given a release in her home country-says it all. A new album rumoured to drop next year is highly unlikely ever to. I forgot to add she's also her own worst enemy for never fighting her corner over music and having a disturbingly negative attitude to the vast majority of her stuff,. All her live shows are only ever made up of 80% songs by everyone else and the same six of hers she always does and to cap it all, she's even dense enough to DEEJAY other people's bullshit on the tragic magic station, a piece of shit broadcasting bollocks that never even plays her OWN stuff anyway,. I always SAID the only way she'd get on the radio is to DJ on it!!
As Stevie Nicks once said: "Have fun, tell the world!" And boy are you right! Glad someone said it. In fact, all you're really doing is imparting a statement of fact. Like "Mother Teresa was a saviour" or "Lin ford Christie's a little fast!"
Your heartache is not forever It’s another road that we walk together And our lives become much stronger As the world goes on much longer I wandered far to find the answers What keeps me alive while taking chances When you’re always almost lonely You forget to take it slowly There’s a fire In the heartland We dance around it like the wild things in the night There’s a fire In the heartland We dance together like we’re wild things in the night I met you in the midst of madness You pulled me out then followed me in To the night where we both wander 'Til our world goes on much longer I’m hoping for a light in the dark It’s getting closer, it’s who we are When we’re almost always lonely We forget to take it slowly There’s a fire In the heartland We dance around it like the wild things in the night There’s a fire In the heartland We dance together like we’re wild things in the night Smoke in the distance It pulls me inside it We dance round the fire in time There’s a fire In the heartland We dance around it like the wild things in the night There’s a fire In the heartland We dance together like we’re wild things in the night Wild things in the night We dance together like we’re wild things in the night
Is it ok to listen on the repeat mode non-stop for 3 days running and having no will - not a slightest bit! - of stopping anywhere in the future as well as stop doing duties just to watch the video?
Lucky for me, i heard this song to a government run radio station, here in romania. Radio romania cultural. The commercial stations never play such music.
Soooo underrated!... :'( The music is amazing and the video is soooo original and cool! Ladyhawke, I LOVE you❣ You're precious! 💎💖 Cheers from Brazil! 🙋
This totes my goat. Seriously awesome song, wondered what the vid would be like after falling for the album cut. Still like the full length better, honestly screw notions of time length standards in pop. If it's any damn good longer usually makes it better. Usually
I bought Ladyhawke's first album, and played it nonstop. It's unfortunate that everything she's done after that album has been been bad. Including this song. She needs to stop listening to her girlfriend and go back to her roots.

Pip should see this comment 😊
She is ahead of her time! So happy to have found her music!
Ahead of her time but sounding like the 1980s? 🤔

Madonna is a Satanic Paedophile.

Brilliant! Loved the texture of the image.
Your heartache is not forever
It’s another road that we walk together
And our lives become much stronger
As the world goes on much longer
I wandered far to find the answers
What keeps me alive while taking chances
When you’re always almost lonely
You forget to take it slowly
There’s a fire
In the heartland
We dance around it like the wild things in the night
There’s a fire
In the heartland
We dance together like we’re wild things in the night
I met you in the midst of madness
You pulled me out then followed me in
To the night where we both wander
'Til our world goes on much longer
I’m hoping for a light in the dark
It’s getting closer, it’s who we are
When we’re almost always lonely
We forget to take it slowly
There’s a fire
In the heartland
We dance around it like the wild things in the night
There’s a fire
In the heartland
We dance together like we’re wild things in the night
Smoke in the distance
It pulls me inside it
We dance round the fire in time
There’s a fire
In the heartland
We dance around it like the wild things in the night
There’s a fire
In the heartland
We dance together like we’re wild things in the night
Wild things in the night
We dance together like we’re wild things in the night
Awesome song!!

She's married already with her wife.
Well that was sad, should've done Money To Burn anyway I guess it's whatever.
