it's just a different culture. probably is Japan. The audiences are usually very reserved there, but then the applause is immense. They are just a very polite and attentive audience.
heh the first bit took some easing into.. but darn.. from the first chorus onwards.. it just took off. one of the few remaining musicians in the industry who actually enjoys music in that easy going way. if he was born during the era of the beatles... it would have been him who defined music today :)

Okay, I've watched several of the songs performed at this performance, and I still don't get it. Why is there a garden gnome sitting there? It cracks me up every time it gets in the camera. Does anyone know why the little old guy was part of the performance? Great songs, by the way.
Actually, I was wondering about this, becase I've seen him 10 or 11 times in the last few years and I've yet to see him play this song, which is kinda sad because I really like it. Especially considering the one on the Sunrise show in that Australian TV clip on there, in which it actually sounds phenomenal... Last night I just had a great insight when driving home from a party with friends.
