  • Dr. Paul Gregory, author of The Oswalds (2022) at the Museum for a Living History program with Curator Stephen Fagin. Gregory became acquainted with Lee and Marina Oswald in June 1962, shortly after the couple settled in Texas. He spent a significant amount of time with the Oswald family that summer, providing transportation, going on excursions and taking Russian language lessons from Marina. He last saw the Oswalds on November 22, 1962, exactly one year prior to the assassination. The program took place at the Museum on November 10, 2023. Paul Gregory's full oral history recording can be found here: bit.ly/3URC192 To see related films, photos, documents and oral histories from The Sixth Floor Museum's collection, visit our online collections database (emuseum.jfk.org).

Very fascinating n informative conversation with Dr. Paul Gregory n Stephen Fagan. Dr. Gregory who had direct contact with Marina n Lee Oswald, even for a short period of time, is most interesting insight into that period in time ! Kudos to all who made their conversations possible. Anticipating ur next one. Peace

On Thanksgiving 1962, what time of day did Gregory pick up the Oswald's?

@SixthFloorMuseum Just heads up there is a sound glitch in the middle of the story of the letter misidentification - a snippet of an interview with Abraham Zapruder is heard on top of the interview audio, at approximately 28:25.

Marina's nickname for him was: Lee "two pump chump" Oswald

An interesting note on Lee Harvey Oswald. Growing up, a favorite television show was a series called 'I Led Three Lives. Based on a guy who poses as a communist for the FBI. Lee was very impressionable. Lmao

28:25: You'll want to fix the audio and re-upload. Otherwise this is a great interview for you to have posted.

I dont think its weird for Lee to be upset about his daughter being naked. Could be weirdos trying to see his daughter.

About time another living history pop-ups. I suspect as time goes on they will be less frequent and then go away.

Dr Gregory states that Lee's motive was notoriety.. yet he denied it when put in front of the cameras. I could never get my head around that one. He also mentioned the alleged attempt by Lee on General Walker. The shot missed even though Walker was seated in a stationary position behind a desk.. yet Lee hit a moving target heading away from him on an incline twice in under 6 seconds. If he was good enough to hit Kennedy in the head why wasn't he good enough to hit a stationary Walker?

It's pretty easy. Oswald didn't shoot at Walker. Even Walker didn't believe it. A next door neighbor saw two men in a car fleeing the scene seconds after, (none of which looked like Oswald.) Walker saw something similar. Oswald couldn't drive. The image of Oswald getting on a public bus with a rifle after taking a shot at someone is pretty ridiculous.

Oswald's scope was misaligned. I'm 72, and have lived through sixty years of conspiracists' lies and stupidity. The evidence is overwhelming that Oswald and Oswald alone killed Kennedy.
Of course, we have a population of idiots, and if you qualify, watch these videos:
      1. LEMMiNO - one of the most remarkable channels on RUclips. He makes a video every six months to a year, he's that painstaking. Watch his ninety minute graphic analysis of the assassination.
      2. Sean Munger - he teaches history. His two part, three hour video which analyzes assassination conspiracy theories is brilliant.
Watch and get over your idiocy.
