Demerits of alcohol ban in bihar----.1. Loss of revenue to other states
2. Rise of daru mafia.
3. Police corruption increase.
4. Loss of govt machinery i.e the police which was suppose to catch criminal is now catching alcohol that to not effectively.
5.Bihar is also missing the opportunity for ethnol production which align India' s vision of ethanol blending

@@YashRaj-ue6tqIt's all about bad politicians. Most people from tier 1 cities in Bihar move out of the state for better education and rarely return. One of the biggest reasons is that people often vote according to their caste. For example, I am from the general category and in Bihar only about 15% of the general category population remains. Most of them don't vote because we don't have any good options, as both the opposition and the ruling party are ineffective. Education is also a factor, as well as the mentality of people, especially from villages or tier 3 cities, which you are able to see in this video. No one can make a significant difference. Even if I think about returning and contributing, it's only possible in theory not practically. Wo kehte hain na.. taking a mug of water out of the ocean doesn't make any difference.

दुख की बात तो ये है कि शराब बंदी सिर्फ कागज पर ही दिखती है , धरातल पर हर जगह शराब मिल रहा है और लोग पी भी रहे है और जो टैक्स बिहार सरकार को आना चाहिए था वो टैक्स बगल के राज्यों में जा रहा है 😢
हर गांव में 4-5 शराब माफिया है जो पूरे गांव में आतंक मचा कर रखे हुए है
पुलिस प्रशासन भी इसी में busy है
इस से बढ़िया शराब चालू ही रहता तो अच्छा रहता , सरकार और ज्यादा tax बढ़ा कर शराब बेचे कोई दिक्कत नहीं है
ऐसे भी लोग दुगने दाम में खरीद रहे है
जो टैक्स दूसरा राज्य को जाता है कम से कम अपना राज्य में ही तो रहेगा

Alcohol is a major issue in Bihar but there is one more issue which is more frightening namely lack of interest of youth in work. As seen at 12:01 this youngster states that he does not want to work at this age, he wants to enjoy his life right now. Being from Bihar and currently living in Jharkhand, the difference that I have observed is that Bihar is not only facing unemployment but also the youngsters refuse to join the work force. I feel this is also a demerit of the education system and should be addressed.

As for what i feel
drinking🍻 is not a that big problem if the person has been taught with good teachings . For example, respecting women, behaving decently and being responsible. A responsible person knows how much to consume if needed and i feel that how a person behaves after drinking is a reflection of his /her real behavioir and personality. Moreover banning the alcohol would not do really much because the people will still find alternative ways to access it. So we must work upon the root cause. Which is indeed a very difficult task because it includes individual contribution and only a few are willing to take the responsibility.

Brother it didn't feel like you went there to actually record their problems or listen to their cries rather you seemed focused just on the length of your video. Also, the questions that you were asking had no head or toe to them, they were totally irrelevant and were just like the follow up general questions which had no meaning to them!
Free advice: If you're doing these types of public interactions then at least listen to what the public has to say, let them speak to their fullest and then later on edit them accordingly... Unki problems kam nhi hongi but kam se kam bhadaas nikaalne ka ek zariya toh milega aur shayad kahin na kahin ye ummeed bhi jagegi ki aapke through ye baat shayad upar unke politicians tak pahuch jayegi!!
It was a awesome program to see but it really hurts when our own country's state like Bihar is been treated like this where no politicians cares for their own people and their welfare.
I wonder what the female population would say about this topic. I didn't see many women in the background of your interviews, probably because they are given the role housewives due to the backward nature of Bihar. I suspect that they might have a unique perspective on this topic as they would be the ones who ultimately deal with the gentlemen who return back home drunk. It's probably them who would be able to diagnose whether the problem is the abundant availability of alcohol or people resorting to alcohol because of a lack of jobs.
