I'm so happy that UK urban music has its own identity in the music industry as a whole now and we don't have to sell out to try and 'break America', shouts to people like Skepta, Giggs and Stormz for making it happen
Pablo exactly! We don't need American validation
Apple Bee not what I said, I said "sell out to try and break America", what I'm saying is that we have our own identity in the music industry now and we can break America without having to change anything
@V.B you can say that about any culture. There's also a difference between copies and inspiration
So sick to see all of these phenomenal artists supported in British Vogue
I love this
THEY ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!
Emilie Rei ... Even all the members of section boys? 😂 if you saw them walking down the street wearing what they usually wear you wouldn’t look twice you’d probably feel scared lol
MORE OF THIS BRITISH VOGUE. This was mad to watch!
Thankyou vogue i have now been introduced to new artists and artists i already know of x
alie loool
where's santandave?????????
Finally, some Blackness in Vogue. Thank you uncle Edward.
ubuntufilms yesss knew he'd do good👏🏾
I knew he'd come through for the culture 🙌🏾
Looking forward to his editorship from the December issue onwards but to be fair, this video was under Acting Editor Emily Sheffield after Alexandra had left
Who's uncle Edward?
ubuntugraphy especially black british!
i freakin' love loyle carner, i wanna see him but hes gotten bigger and his shows always sell out :( ahhh oh my jorja smith too, i discovered loyle and jorja from ads before they both became known oh my!! this is beautifully made
Okay but I wanted to see yxng bane and Kojo too 😭
Saff P youll never see kojo and jhus in the same video😂😂
Can’t believe Bane wasn’t included, surprised Stormz and Krept & Konan weren’t either to be fair
They are like American hip hop artists, but smarter, with nicer accents, clothes and humour.
mm1996 True
apart from those who were from different parks of England in the video. It's not a nicer accent lol it's just English, you know where the language originated from
Benitho Onyemba Every body in the world has an accent. I'm Australian. I have an Australian accent
Benitho Onyemba everywhere in England has a different accent, there is no 'English accent'
True, +Benitho's comment makes no sense, especially as I can barely discern what half the Londoners are even saying, and I only live up the road... 😉
However you could make your point about every country's accents, including America and Australia, yet we still say "American/Australian accent". Every region of every country has a different accent, but you can usually tell from that regional accent which country they're from.
Hence whether Cockney, Brummie or Geordie, you still speak with an *"English accent"* 🤓
Loving this representation. Finally I get to see people who look like me and grew up where I did thriving 😍
I ship Loyle and Jorja soooooo hard
This is excellent, love the diversity of the artists featured and their outfits. More, please.
I couldn't help smiling throughout this✊🏾

@@mossyrockk yeah she's from Walsall though not Birmingham
They need to another one and put kojo and bane on there
I wanted to see ktrap with his Bally on this 😂
BRITISH VOGUE SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON BRISITH YOUTH like i-d,, let's raise talented people and stop hyping mediocre american girls please!
Abracadabra 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
the best hip hop right now is coming from Britain.
Sam Tracy just chill
bmt its not hiphop g wtf ahah
These artists aint even hip hop
L
AJ Tracey🔥🔥
LOYAL TO LOYLE
No hice!
Nadia is the baddest
Every one knows me and ldot started the whole brit rap trend
LEGEND
From day one I've always said Loyle Carner gonna be big. Look where he is now!🤷🏽♂️
fire but still can't compete on these kinda things with I-D
Anyone knows what is the song at 3:44?
💚💚💚💚💚💚
being black is so fly
You have put them all in some great outfits! Would be nice if they could take this style away from them as this is not a usual look for most artists featured. Real british look which just perfectly blends with rap, its brilliant and would do the artists big favours if they could carry this style elsewhere.
Anyone know where i can get the images from. I want 1:18 as a desktop background Section moving proper wavey
I don't get why I'm not in Vogue.
Missing out. Honestly.
UK artists are The waviest dons I’ve ever seen
so glad they put hip hop and not grime
Jhus sounds so different when he talks...I thought he would of had a proper deep voice
Ngl but half of these look like they be on the vybz Kartel if u know u know
Any link to the background beat?
Jorja tho
MANS NOT HOT
Abra needs a trim
Looks kinda pretentious, but whatever floats your boat. Guess I don't understand it.
I wouldnt class any of these artists as "hip hop" or even close
The Brit hop generation? British hiphop has existed since the early 80's. Typical vogue types not knowing anything
dont call it brit-hop. it is in no way in association with hiphop
Vogue showing black faces now?
Is readership that bad they now going for the black dollar?
AJ need a facial or some acutine QuickTime blud
