That’s the thing I think casual players don’t get about competitive players. To us the way we play IS fun. That’s what makes both valid is that they are both different ways of having fun playing a good game

But because they are unpredictable this means that the master would have a hard time predicting them as well and could have prepared for a safer move a more skilled opponent would have done and not been prepared for something unsafe that completely catches them off-guard. Most of the time even with an unpredicated move the master can still deal with it, but not always. Hence the "Beginner's Luck". It doesn't mean most beginners can beat a master, just that there is is a low chance that an unpredicteed move can help more than it can usually hurt.

I once played against a Ryu online that was obviously better than me. After losing a few games to him he played a game where he literally did nothing but true shoryu. I still lost. That was a tough loss.
I played a DBFZ match where the only super I tried to use was Android 16 kamikaze. I won that game. I also main Top-Deck Hero, no tag. The Hero that has nothing to lose.

The most I've ever thought about playing Chip was when I went online and did everything in my power to link into as many jabs as possible until the opponent died to being jabbed repeatedly.

Real talk, as a casual player, the "You can't know what I'm going to do if I don't know what I'm going to do" strategy is how I succeed in Rev2 when I play Chipp as a joke. The most I've ever thought about playing Chip was when I went online and did everything in my power to link into as many jabs as possible until the opponent died to being jabbed repeatedly.
