Glad to see you back even if only briefly. This plane looks a lot like the P-61 which was primarily a night fighter with a big radar in the nose and different foward firing guns with remote controlled rear turrets. I think the P-61B model was upgraded to a couple 20 mm guns. I think the P-61 would be a great plane to add to WOW.

The P-61 is in warthunder already, but sadly not the XP-58. I would really like to see that one in warthunder, but I guess it’s not historically accurate enough for wt
@HiTechOilCo @HiTechOilCo @HiTechOilCo Truth is a b1tch. So is the extreme rng in all Wg games. I don't think that sugar coating the fact that all Wg games have extreme rng is all that helpful, and as such WoWp is plagued by lopsided battles most of the time do to the extremes of the rng. When your bots are dumb you lose even if you are a great player as Postal Monkey is. I've gotten my share of Ace > 20K score battle losses do to the extreme shenanigans of Wg coding (I hear that WoT and WoWS are just as bad).

Taking advantage of any of the premium aircraft discounts this weekend? Not sure I’ve ever seen them discount tier 7 premiums by 50% before. Could be an amazing event to pick up tier 7 premiums.

@@PostalMonkey @Postal Monkey The 50% and 30% discounts were great as usual. Too bad Wg decided to reduce the discount on tier X planes to only 15%.
This is the unfortunate truth about extreme rng. It's better to have the good AI bots than it is to have the better playing skills. All the skills in the world can't overcome extreme shenanigans and when you flip the proverbial coin and get "tails" then you lose.
Extreme rng which results in frequent lopsided AI battles is the biggest drawback to this game. We all know this, want Wg to balance the 2 AI teams better, but know that Wg doesn't want fair and even AI bot battlefield conditions. DOH!!!!
Otherwise the XP-58 looks like a very good heavy plane. I do well in my Bf 109 Z so I will probably like this plane too. Time to see if it is on the 30% discount plane list for the weekend sale. Thanks for showcasing the XP-58.
