Gotta love the irrational mood changes, and especially the fact sans and papyrus have full tears, even though they’re skeletons, in a single frame💀
For context of the mod: This is set in the au known as Dusttale a universe in which sans was growing tired of the genocide runs that he had the idea to get as much lv before the player, but while sans was preparing to kill the human boyfriend fell into the underground whilst escaping someone who killed girlfriend (I might have a good guess on who killed gf but it’ll have to be answered once the mod fully releases), giving chara the opportunity to possess a different human also boyfriend chose to attack sans since he looked so similar to the one who killed girlfriend hence you see gf in the last part of perseverance of course sans then escapes from boyfriend which then segways to kinemorto (papyrus’s song in the mod) which leads to a key point in the au, sans kills papyrus to get more lv but as sans gets more lv the more his sanity breaks forcing him to turn insane, even making papyrus come back as a skeletal ghost, the last song in the mod is a reference to dustswap, which combines the events of dusttale and underswap(roles are swapped around in this au, making sans have papyrus’s role and vice versa in papyrus’s case, meaning papyrus’s is taking the role of dusttale sans) The song takes place at muffet’s (grilby’s role is swapped with muffet’s) which is tattered by DustSwap Papyrus not that Swap sans knows that yet, by the end of the song papyrus kills sans but sans comes back as a skeletal ghost much like the events of dusttale.
Extra context: The freeplay bonus songs take place in different undertale aus since the mod itself takes place in a ut au

damn didnt see this comming, dustin mod for an au of undertale very interesting. Also history for ya if you dont know the mod, boyfriend got controlled or possesed by chara to do thier dirty work of killing for the genocide route and sans got tired of the same cycle. He thought if he could match the kid L.V for L.V this hole mess would end but it just makes things worse as sans cant controll his sanity when he kills those close to him just to end a threat like chara

Bruh, papyrus wouldn't say such a thing to his brother if Sans will even kill everybody, Papyrus will believe in him, you don't know how to make Papyrus good at reactions?
Plus sans would explain at first that his another version (even if he don't know them in original game, well it's gacha life stuff)
