Bean Avatar Naruto Pokemon Digimon bey blade Max and ruby on my life as a teenage robot Johnny test and Danny phantom and wasn’t really a fan of yu gioh but them card battles hit different

The race and nationality of the people who pour their love and passion into a work of art does not determine it's quality. If you prefer the style of Japanese animation there's nothing wrong with that, but the greatest works of Japanese animation will always find peers across the world. Arcane and Violet Evergarden are two gorgeous and deep pieces of media, that are truly able to be considered masterpieces. Re: Zero is one of my all time favorite animes, but I could never place it higher or lower than Bojack Horseman if I were to rank my favorite animations, as I consider both pieces of media to be true masterpieces. Also, the world does not consist of only America and Japan-France, for example, is known across the world for its transcendent works in the field of animation, and anyone who knows French animation can tell you that it's an entire world of its own, filled with incredible beauty and talent. And what about beautifully aesthetic web series like Bea and Puppycat, something created not by an expensive team of animators, yet still dazzles you with its incredible colors and visuals. Countless shows like Over the Garden Wall, Hilda, or even something like King of the Hill have shaped so many people and are so incredibly well made and timeless that they could easily stand up to any anime, even if they're in a different style. And what of something like The Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Nightmare before Christmas, or Coraline? Incredible films, with such unique and mesmerizing art styles. I mean I love both since I grew up watching cartoons, but after watching Perfect Blue, Violet Evergarden, Cowboy Bebop, Erased, and My Hero Academia I’ve grown to love anime as well, the good ones and great ones at least. Though American/Western cartoons can also be mature, well written, visually stunning and go deep, look at Wolfwalkers, Breadwinner, Song of the Sea, Secret of the Kells, The Long Way North, April and the Extraordinary Life, Batman the Animated Series, Static Shock, the entire DCAU, the Iron Giant, Lilo and Stitch, Mulan, and Avatar TLA (which is arguably an anime as well). The race and nationality of the people who pour their love and passion into a work of art does not determine it's quality. If you prefer the style of Japanese animation there's nothing wrong with that, but the greatest works of Japanese animation will always find peers across the world.
Arcane and Violet Evergarden are two gorgeous and deep pieces of media, that are truly able to be considered masterpieces.
Re: Zero is one of my all time favorite animes, but I could never place it higher or lower than Bojack Horseman if I were to rank my favorite animations, as I consider both pieces of media to be true masterpieces.
Also, the world does not consist of only America and Japan-France, for example, is known across the world for its transcendent works in the field of animation, and anyone who knows French animation can tell you that it's an entire world of its own, filled with incredible beauty and talent.
And what about beautifully aesthetic web series like Bea and Puppycat, something created not by an expensive team of animators, yet still dazzles you with its incredible colors and visuals.
Countless shows like Over the Garden Wall, Hilda, or even something like King of the Hill have shaped so many people and are so incredibly well made and timeless that they could easily stand up to any anime, even if they're in a different style.
And what of something like The Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Nightmare before Christmas, or Coraline? Incredible films, with such unique and mesmerizing art styles.
Would you compare weathering with you to something like The Iron Giant?
Is the impact perfect blue had on people any less than a film like Encanto (wild comparison, I know)?
Man I know this was a short funny lil video, and it's harmless in reality, but it's just an attitude that I see far too much.
I love animation so deeply, and there's nothing I want more than for anyone with any sort of appreciation or love for the medium to be aware of what it is they're actually loving, and to not dismiss and put down entire countries of people who have dedicated their entire lives to an art form just because you don't understand the medium.

I mean I love both since I grew up watching cartoons, but after watching Perfect Blue, Violet Evergarden, Cowboy Bebop, Erased, and My Hero Academia I’ve grown to love anime as well, the good ones and great ones at least. There’s some bad ones too, but when an anime is a masterpiece, it’s a masterpiece. Though American/Western cartoons can also be mature, well written, visually stunning and go deep, look at Wolfwalkers, Breadwinner, Song of the Sea, Secret of the Kells, The Long Way North, April and the Extraordinary Life, Batman the Animated Series, Static Shock, the entire DCAU, the Iron Giant, Lilo and Stitch, Mulan, and Avatar TLA (which is arguably an anime as well). It’s okay to have preferences and it’s also okay to love them both!
