I have a small question. Were the people at the Tower of Babel slaves? Were they there against their will. It doesn’t say that. But Nimrod was a hunter of men.
I think everyone was acting together of their own will. That seems to be the reason God needed to confused their language. As for Nimrod, since eating meat was added to the diet, it makes sense that Nimrod was a great hunter of animals. The word warrior could mean "skilled or mighty hunter". We aren't given specific information, but there is no mention of wars or battles at this point.
