Well done mate. It was a chaotic fiasco that was almost more "glitch exhibition" than "speedrun", but it was still one of the highlights of the whole AGDQ. Even if I'm gonna stick to running glitchless categories for the foreseeable future.
Literally, it was the quintensence of AGDQ. It was not about going for WR, but showing the game from "kinda" funny point of view. It took over hour of my life, and i do not regret it at all :D
Now this is a GDQ run! Just fun and fast and glitchy and chaotic. I thought the couch would be way more awkward but they really kept things together. Godmode saved the 'run' and without it then they would be way over estimate or DNF. This was so good.
Honestly I prefer these runs to the super clean WR worthy runs. Theres something glorious about the sheer chaos and pandemonium of these sorts of runs that gives GDQ its flavor.
Technically this is more of a decimal timer, with each column representing a digit (as a decimal figure) in binary form (thus maxing to 1001₂, or 9₁₀; this is pretty obvious and quick to check on the last two columns, who will never be fully lighted), rather than a true binary timer only made of binary figures (in which case each column would max to 1111₂) ;)
Wow what a smartass.....just kidding i didn't notice it was decimal until you made me notice that it stops after 10 on each column. Not to mention Ischke's comment made me notice there even is a timer.
2 month later I got a notification that "someone" liked my comment here. Props to RUclips. But anyway: yes! You are fully right and I didn't think about it properly. Binary timers are counting to 8. Thanks for correcting me there! But still a nice timer tho.
Extremely fun run to watch! Seems like the runner was really embarrassed, but he shouldn't be! Turning on God Mode because of one little mistake was no big deal in a gdq. The couch was great and the runner had a good attitude. Well done guys!
This is one of my favorite agdq runs of all time now. When the shit hits the fan it goes absolutely everywhere and everything is ruined. I love it! The craziest stuff happens in marathon runs.
My condolences for your run, Wall of Spain. It was funny for us, but you seem like an honorable sort so I can imagine how much using God Mode to avoid killing the run hurt, and in front of many thousands no less. Stay tilted, my man.
My favorite thing about this run is that after making fun of the fact the Bucket Adventure is outdated, they screw up all the new strats until they actually got a worse time than the Bucket Adventure on Legendary difficulty.
This guy tilted hard in more ways than one, good on him for seeing it through. Takes a lot to put yourself infront of a crowd and massive amount of streamers. Good to see him take it mostly in good spirits.
TDX619 He's my favorite runner in GDQ. He's always so enjoyable to watch, provides excellent commentary, and goes in detail as to how the glitches actually work. His Skyrim run was especially impressive because he provided his own commentary while playing
Awesome video, that horse tilt speed glitch is crazy! Been playing Skyrim VR a little lately so I have a question...has there been any VR game speed runs yet at AGDQ, and would the tilt glitch work in VR too?
Ill bet you anything that the Blazing Saddles joke around 24 minutes was thought up weeks ago and he had been sitting on it this entire time, just waiting for this chance to say it on AGDQ. #SlayedMe
I usually dont enjoy 3d games much but this run was very entertaining! It really showcase a marathon run well, some things can go crazy and well then you might have to be creative :D
Just accidentally horse tilted in my casual Skyrim playthrough, managed to visit 3 of the 4 corners of the map in under 90 seconds. At least it didn't crash.
I love how DrTChops at 33 minutes demonstrates how awkward it is to bump into someone and then he proceeds to do it and the dude he did it to was confused as fuck
derk danl a few strats are similar, such as the unbound trick and marriage + elder scrolls. Since then, I believe tilting changed the route quite a lot, so this is a new route to be showcased.
Ah Kinchil Oh yeah sure i was just referencing the way the speedrunners (particularly chops) sarcastically refer to skyrim as a very well programmed game whenever something goes wrong
I still wonder which version you need to do the sell/buy glitch, and a good explanation of the glitch if someone has it. And, for the dupe glitch, how do you do this version ? The one I know is the city gate (drop item save, get item, go outside, quick load and the items are back), but in this one there is only save load on the same spot, and it just dupe the sword ? :-|
This run was an absolute disaster at times. Definitely in the upper echelons of entertainment this gdq. So fun to watch. It literally sounded like stoners speedrunning at times
Well, that was fun
Wall Of Spain great job! Makes me miss the old agdqs
You better not feel embarrassed about this, this was the best run in the entire event.
Wall Of Spain honestly one of the most enjoyable runs this year
Well done mate. It was a chaotic fiasco that was almost more "glitch exhibition" than "speedrun", but it was still one of the highlights of the whole AGDQ. Even if I'm gonna stick to running glitchless categories for the foreseeable future.
I have to ask; Why did you not use a potion or eat something while fighting the dragon? Did I miss "No Items", or would it affect the glitches?
10:48
SkullyGames Now you're a AGDQ hero
Michael Hollis wooo
SkullyGames Now much appreciated
MVP
There need to be more people like you in the world.
Literally, it was the quintensence of AGDQ. It was not about going for WR, but showing the game from "kinda" funny point of view.

AlphaUndead eh, the comment is understandable.
Now this is a GDQ run! Just fun and fast and glitchy and chaotic. I thought the couch would be way more awkward but they really kept things together. Godmode saved the 'run' and without it then they would be way over estimate or DNF. This was so good.
"I can't believe you're speaking to me after... Alright."
This game is held together with scotch tape and cheap glue.
nah fam. duct tape solves all problems, so they used some of that.
Would you really say some of its problems are "solved" ? 0 duct tape used
Held together?
What do you mean
Honestly I prefer these runs to the super clean WR worthy runs. Theres something glorious about the sheer chaos and pandemonium of these sorts of runs that gives GDQ its flavor.
"To be fair you have to have a very high iq to defeat alduin."
A beautiful example of how a speedrun doesn't have to be good to be great. Watched it live and loved every second of it.
Dude!!!!! i loved this run so much!!! :3 im happy to see the good old funny AGDQ again... also shout outs to the audience! they were very supportive
This run was freaking hilarious! More fun then anything
10:32 where stuff begins
Nooblord Derpington Thanks man! I wonder why the upload wasn't just cut to this point.
*Cries in unofficial Skyrim patch*
Jani SIr *laughs in delete*
I really love that binary timer behind the timer.

44:00 where it goes wrong
DONT WORRY WE GOT GOD MODE
It's fine, and it's not your fault.
Let's just enjoy the cheatless run.
F1akeO you mean where it goes oh so right?
Extremely fun run to watch! Seems like the runner was really embarrassed, but he shouldn't be! Turning on God Mode because of one little mistake was no big deal in a gdq. The couch was great and the runner had a good attitude. Well done guys!
Woofs123 100% agree. Theses guys are hilarious, the tgm made it even more entertaining. Really hope they come back next GDQ.
This is one of my favorite agdq runs of all time now. When the shit hits the fan it goes absolutely everywhere and everything is ruined. I love it! The craziest stuff happens in marathon runs.
I missed my wedding twice to watch this run.
#JusticeForMarcurio
What?
#CurseOfMarcurio 43:49
I loved this run! It may not have been the best speedrun but it was one of the most entertaining
I enjoyed every second of this truly hilarious run! Thank to you guys :)
"You never know when we're gonna get skyrim'd" NO truer words have ever been uttered in human history!
My condolences for your run, Wall of Spain. It was funny for us, but you seem like an honorable sort so I can imagine how much using God Mode to avoid killing the run hurt, and in front of many thousands no less.
Stay tilted, my man.
Best run I have seen for a while!!! So funny!
My favorite thing about this run is that after making fun of the fact the Bucket Adventure is outdated, they screw up all the new strats until they actually got a worse time than the Bucket Adventure on Legendary difficulty.
Oh boy I'm watching a GDQ vid and it's not old
*SHOUTS*
"Thats the wrong dragon!"
I laughed for like 10 minutes
"This is a little known strat called literally cheating"
I love seeing parts that took me hours and hours to reach, then there’s him who reaches it in 20 mins..
Agreed, it took me way longer to miss my wedding because of unintentional time travel.
Thank you guys for what you do
This guy tilted hard in more ways than one, good on him for seeing it through. Takes a lot to put yourself infront of a crowd and massive amount of streamers. Good to see him take it mostly in good spirits.
Bethesda will always make perfect games.
It just works
Lol yep. Good in theory, bad in practice.
No, they'll make one perfect game then release it six times
+Rocketsnail1000 but bethesda doesn't own the pokemon series
Oliver Dixon such a perfect specimen had never been before-until now. It’s all part of Todd’s plan.
"Quantum Entangle the horse" That part kills me every time I listen to it, thankfully I left a quick save before watching this.
Sorry it took 3 years for someone to tell you that's a great joke!
Nice alduin fight.
Iain Kerr A Blobfish.
This run was a roller coaster of emotions and I loved it
Hearing BlueGlass' laughter at each year's AGDQ warms my heart (14:14)
Run starts at 10:55
47:27 "I'm such a fraud" - lol. Love it!
isn't the guy in the middle the same guy from that infamous Mirror's Edge run?
yeah. he's DrTchops
yes he's also run skyrim on a GDQ before.
The one that he "roasts" the glitchless category. He made valid points though.
wasn't he just a friend of runner and whole thing was planned?
TDX619 He's my favorite runner in GDQ. He's always so enjoyable to watch, provides excellent commentary, and goes in detail as to how the glitches actually work. His Skyrim run was especially impressive because he provided his own commentary while playing
I just noticed that the timer has a background with bars representing the time as well, damn!
I absolutely love how ass backwards this run went. It made for great entertainment, even if it wasn't an amazing run.
One of my favorite games and runs ... Awesome
Love how theyre having so much fun
That's a lot of skooma
How Bethesda builds entire games around this engine actually astounds me.
But what about playing it for 500 hours? Is there a games done long channel?
Skyrim 100% All Quests + Priests Masks + Shouts/All Houses/All DLCs/Max Level & Skills/No Running/No Fast Travel & Carriages/Restart on Death
Any Skyrim Let's Play channel ever.
GopherGaming
is this a speed run or a glitch exhibition? Glorious!
Dalitas D both
Dalitas D Skyrim is a glitch exhibition...
They're right, this is definitely the way Todd Howards intended the game to be played
Awesome video, that horse tilt speed glitch is crazy! Been playing Skyrim VR a little lately so I have a question...has there been any VR game speed runs yet at AGDQ, and would the tilt glitch work in VR too?
The guy who did the resident evil 7 speedrun does a vr speedrun of it. He mentioned he didn't get to submit the run.
"Is tilting a glitch?"
43:49 I think that's exactly why I still prefer the orc.
This run had me laughing so hard!!! Gold...absolute gold! 😂
I don't know how I feel about the God mode but it was a fun run and didn't have to restart.
This was the best run
You know what? It's fine. Everything is fine.
It's the guy that memed the Mirror's Edge run!
Lol, love the Blazing Saddles reference at 24:08
Ill bet you anything that the Blazing Saddles joke around 24 minutes was thought up weeks ago and he had been sitting on it this entire time, just waiting for this chance to say it on AGDQ. #SlayedMe
Valhalla
This was so awesome!
I usually dont enjoy 3d games much but this run was very entertaining! It really showcase a marathon run well, some things can go crazy and well then you might have to be creative :D

I couldn't stop laughing at the Alduin fight hahaha
I love how DrTChops at 33 minutes demonstrates how awkward it is to bump into someone and then he proceeds to do it and the dude he did it to was confused as fuck
So this is how skyrim is intended to be play hmm...
This run was so fun!
This was the only good run to come out of the entire marathon
Is it just me or does the commentary sound very similar to the Skyrim run they did a few years back?
derk danl a few strats are similar, such as the unbound trick and marriage + elder scrolls. Since then, I believe tilting changed the route quite a lot, so this is a new route to be showcased.
This is art
This is fine. Everything is fine.
This is such a bad speedrun it’s hilarious
The Sventile its actually a very well programmed run
I think he meant it's bad in that so many strats fail, the programming is fine of course, latest strats pretty much
Ah Kinchil Oh yeah sure i was just referencing the way the speedrunners (particularly chops) sarcastically refer to skyrim as a very well programmed game whenever something goes wrong
I'm feeling like a starfish right now because they puke their guts out. This speedrun made it all better.
Such a fun run
Oh my god it's hilarious
That was awesome xD I laughed so much!
speedrunning skyrim in not a thing you do. savour it...
Wow, they didn't use cheats, like i did close my eyes and did not know why they asked but good, job. also can I tilt?
that guy on the couch is from that video from the "glitchless" mirrors edge run lmao
I was screaming to my monitor 'USE THE ARROWS AND DELETE' at the crash untill drtchops saved the day lol
you know, I've gotten the clear skies soft lock while playing the game NORMALLY
I suddenly feel really sorry for the guys who worked on the unofficial patches for this.
I still wonder which version you need to do the sell/buy glitch, and a good explanation of the glitch if someone has it.

skyrim in a nutshell "we don't know how it works it just does"
Funny enough, it's actually easier to clip through the gate on Mzark than it is to clip through the ground there.
I'm not sure what's going on here but it's pretty hype
Video start at 10:36
"You're getting Sky-rimmed."
- 52:30
isnt this the mirrors edge guy
38:17
*deafening sound of silence*
RUclips Sucks lmfao
This run was an absolute disaster at times. Definitely in the upper echelons of entertainment this gdq. So fun to watch. It literally sounded like stoners speedrunning at times
My name is Dragonborn and I’m the fastest man alive
14:10
Starts @ 10:58
10:32 for stream start
I want to propose a new Skyrim speedrun category: matrimony%. The run ends when you marry Marcutio
www.speedrun.com/skyrim/full_game#Marriage
i think he could've just equipped heal when having the bad quicksave and go full hp behind the rocks to continue without godmode :3
also just tried to weapon duplicate just to see if i can do it...with my slow pc and mods i actually got 4 and not 2 or 3 :,)
The camera is in a different spot
Just reminds me how atrociously broken unmodded Skyrim is...
Quick question; would it be worth saving the game mid horse tilt, so all the tilt speeds will be consistent?
I think they actually want different speed depending on the places they are at, so it might actually cause more problem than it solves.
can you just bucket Alduin?
i laughed way too much during the run and when watching this
