    Always a joy to see this plant because it reminds me of my father. He learned me to color Easter eggs with the root. If he was alive he would have turned 100 today.

    This was really helpful! I just got some bloodroot and took them inside right on time before it snowed, I’m glad I know why the petals started to fall! I’ve now done all the research after I saw this about a couple days ago, so I know how to keep my little flowers alive!

    Thanks for your comment. I had put the range in the accompanying blog post at identifythatplant (dot) com. It grows in and near wooded areas in the central and eastern portions of North America.

    Just did this in an enema for the 4th time. Took 14 tincture drops. Seems safe to me. So much misinformation out their
