Always a joy to see this plant because it reminds me of my father. He learned me to color Easter eggs with the root. If he was alive he would have turned 100 today.
This was really helpful! I just got some bloodroot and took them inside right on time before it snowed, I’m glad I know why the petals started to fall! I’ve now done all the research after I saw this about a couple days ago, so I know how to keep my little flowers alive!
