Thank you for explaining this completely it hits different to go back and actually understand every little thing that happened makes it that much better
really good and underrated vid, but if you only put spoilers alert in the title it would've been perfect, since some people who did not complete the arc thinking "i will watch this vid until i reach the chapter i am in"
I don't see that direction. I mean, he destroys by winning, right? There are many opponents that were quite confident until they lost. Maybe you are referring to a psychological warfare that he makes by teasing, joking and lying. I could make a video about this behavior but I see that behavior as something that makes him have fun and not have an effect in the game. He taunts Suteguma a lot but most of the taunts were not fruitfuls. I think Baku acts like this for the moments were his taunts are right (imagine if he had won the dotty game in the first round, it would be luck but the way he act would imply that it wasn't. There is a law of power about this). Writing this comment gave me an interesting direction to explore in a video. In summary, it seems that he only plant some "seeds" for these moments of luck, and then he acts like it wasn't luck.
@@MadarameJoker yes I'm reffing to his psychological warfare againts the opponent just like you mentioned he plants false seeds in opponents heads making them think complete opposite to what he's actually planning he is braking their phsychy by winning but the methods he uses is interesting its those false hopes he gives opponents and gives them confidence that is so entertaining. Sutegama was a fckin robot man of course he would have a hard time guessing him but in the end he still read him which was really surprising. Now that I think about it evryone in usogui is trying to do the same thing lol but bakus just built different he always comes up with counter bluffs sometimes it's luck but even in situations where it doesn't favor him he still comes out victorious with a string of hair.
I had some ideas about the philosophy of planting seeds thad might be related to what you are talking about. I want to make an analysis that removes the protagonism of the character so we can learn something about it. I think much of what you are referring to is the traps he makes, so he can exploit a mistake or exploit a lucky coincidence. I think this is an important aspect of the character. For me, it seems he just plants a lot of seeds and then get the value from which one is useful. I will explore this more
Thank you this video helped me understand a lot of the game since a lot of it was in the background in the arc. My only question is the whole “13 has not been entered yet”. Why did they lie about Marco entering 13. Did they need suteguma to waste his guess because they didn’t know he had 9. How did Baku even know that suteguma had 9 but not 8 or 10?
There is a page (I think I didn't put in the video) where baku says to marco that they would pretend to input a number in the future. So when Baku say 13 to marco, and then pressed 13 into the chaplain, suteguma was sure that it was the final choice for baku. So suteguma arrived at the conclusion that baku number was 7. 7+9 is 16, the final guess from Suteguma in the terminal. That is how Baku knew the number of suteguma's beads. So the lie was to convince Suteguma that baku for sure had either 6 or 7 beads, and then, with the information of the wrong guess, baku solve the real number os beads. Thanks for watching, let me know if you understood my explanation or if you have other question!
@@MadarameJoker no i understand now. man this gamble is pretty good but its certainly confusing on first readthrough. i like this series but I certainly need a guide for some of it lol. your channel is appreciated
I'm glad you understand it and like the video. I had to read many times to finally understand. It is cool to discover these implicit logic. It shows that we can really trust the author and that things make sense in this manga.
I didn't understand the 8 bluff. I understand that there is no problem in typing illogical number of beads on the top of the building.my question is was 8 typed the total number of beads or no of beads each of them have. And if it was the total no of beads isn't baku supposed to think that suteguma has less less than 8 beads. I don't understand it's whole deal please reply 😭
You are clearly very confused and it is understandable. The game was abut guessing the sum of the no of beads both of them are carrying. Sutegama made H enter 8 coz he knew Marco would see that and tell it to Baku, which will make baku think that the no of beads Sutegama has is definitely less than 8. Hence the numbers guessed by baku in the later rounds were revolving around this assumption but......the twist is that baku knew after the 1st round that 8 was deliberately entered to mislead baku and he himself was misleading sutegama the whole time. That said you need to read some of the chapters (the 2nd and 3rd round) to understand everything clearly.
I understand everything of this arc, its cool. But the only thing i dont understand is karamete, i just finished battleship and i came here because im still confused.. what is it exactly? and why is it needed for surpassing the leader?
Karamete is a technique of gaining influence and powerful contacts to play surpassing the leader. For example Baku with L-file managed to gain enough influence to obtain the karamete
@@NotaPlagueDoctor300 It's more a matter of "You cannot play Surpassing the Leader without contributing to Kakerou first". This is BESIDES the 50,000,000,000 yen that are required.
